This community needs to pay more attention to what we got, not what we didn't get. We got new strikes, a new raid, a new crucible game mode (so far) new subclasses, new planets, patrol activities, guided games and in game clans, a new campaign, and a MASSIVE array of new weapons. They even changed the returning subclasses gameplay wise. Although it may seem like an expansion, it's a sequel, so it may seem that way at first. Destiny 2 is a game that will very likely get multiple DLCs just as the first did. What Bungie showed us is what we'll get in vanilla. We're getting lots of content to tie us over until the DLCs come, and then hopefully the game will be as successful as its predecessor. TL;DR
Pay attention to what we got, not what we didn't get, and look towards the future of destiny 2, not just what was shown to us in the reveal
What we've seen is only a small taste of the game rather than a comprehensive overview, so it's really easy for people to want every wish granted. Though I don't expect to see a new kind of personal vehicle for Guardians in the Red War Campaign, I hope at some point we get a "Hawk" with weapons for Patrol/Story and PVP modes that cater for it - either as a chassis we earn and build up to completion via a quest, or perhaps discover in the Lost Sectors randomly and then upgrade over time like other gear.

 • @Brother Saladin I don't agree with many of the choices made in releasing their expansions. Their complete disregard for calling it an MMO, because only up to six people can be in a team, has been really childish. This even exacerbated public opinion towards the stupid manner in which you had to buy a new disc every time they launched a chapter of Destiny 1 - something I truly hope WILL NOT HAPPEN with Destiny 2. However, if you've ever played MMOs, you would know just how expensive the majority of them are to maintain. I've played about four over the past 15 years, and ALL of them at one time or another cost £70 a year; sometimes more if I wasn't under annual subscription. I understand you're unhappy with the the money you may have to burn to keep playing, but nobody's forcing you to play Destiny 2 at all... for everybody, that is a choice.
