As long as the game is good I don't care that it's only 30fps. I've gotten used to it after 3 years it doesn't bother me.
Edit: Just to clarify: I'm not saying I want 30fps. I'd take 60 over 30 any day of the week. However, I'm not going to complain just because Destiny 2 is capped at 30fps. To me, gameplay/content>FPS/Graphics.

Edited by MrLeprechaun23: 5/21/2017 7:02:51 PMAs long as its as good as or even a little better and runs smoother than D1 I'm satisfied

It does not matter at all.. Sure you can see the difference if you just played a game that ran on 60 fps, then turn on destiny.. But gameplay trumps everything, and FPS should never be a priority on console... i can easily see why Destiny 2 can`t run on 60 fps on Xbox one and Ps4..

PC is looking to be the superior version, which sucks because I have a potato rig and I will most likely stick to my ps4.

1 ReplyEdited by BlackWombatx: 5/21/2017 6:50:12 PMIt might run higher than 30 on the "Scorpio" but we have yet to hear anything about Destiny 2 and how it runs on that other than "it works" on it lol but guess we'll find out at E3 MAYBE and that's a big maybe.

2 RepliesHonestly I don't really care about it being 60FPS (granted I'd LIKE it to be that, but I won't refuse a game because it's not that.) However I don't get people that claim they can't notice the difference between the two, especially once you actually start moving the camera.

As long as the graphics are great, 30fps will never bother me. The only thing I can't stand are things rendering in my sight, fading objects the further I move away from them.
-
I dont care i usually have to get drunk to play this game i dont notice
-
I don't mind as long as its ACTUALLY locked and not "locked" with dips to 20s-teens. I'd prefer they drop 4k and give us 1080p/60fps though.

One of my favorite games of all time was bionic commando on NES. That compared to destiny makes it look like pong. So I think Destiny 2 will be just fine for me.

I don't really care about the 30FPS and whatever the hell else they don't have. I am already expecting PvP to be a hot mess as always. They all played on LAN at the event so of course there was no real issues with connections. We shall see how good it really is when the beta (or full game) comes out. I have been playing a few other games that run native 60fps and I jumped back over to destiny yesterday and it felt quite odd. It seemed like everything is running slower and I had to play a good amount to get used to it again. Then I played PvP and was quickly reminded how bad my fav guns suck a fat one after only 2-3 matches and I put it back on the shelf :)

I haven't cared now and then and never will
-
No I don't care however I do care that these cheap asses are not gonna give us dedicated servers. More than Disappointing!
-
5 RepliesI couldn't give the remotest shit about frames. Having started gaming on the original game boy, it all looks amazing to me
-
3 RepliesIf it keeps up the stellar solid 30fps I can accept, Destiny never ever frame dropped for me on X1 so that's fine. However, I'd expect it o go 60fps on the Scorpio
-
Man I definitely agree on this topic I've played this game since before dark below and I don't see any problem with it at this moment so as long as the game is good it doesn't matter as long as it's a good challenging experience
-
3 Replieswait, it's not even 60 fps this time? Guess it's time to get it on pc
-
1 ReplyIt ultimately doesn't matter. You're getting the same content. 60fps means nothing if the game is crap. The need for better graphics is destroying gaming.
-
4 RepliesI don't mind it but I have mixed feelings about even the PS4 pro not having 60 even though destiny is promoted on play station
-
I'm very much fine with 30 FPS on Consoles, always have been seen 6th gen.
-
Can you believe the low loading screens per second rate!!? Well ain't that some shit.

3 RepliesIt's not a deal breaker. But in 2017 it is a f*ckin head scratcher.

Ive played games with 60fps, and whilst i see the difference i dont care too much if a game only has 30. As for dedicated servers, my connection is great and bungie said they are moving towards CBMM so i should be alright. I really dont care about either tbh, though i do see why they are a big deal to some.
-
3 Replies60fps isn't a big of a deal as most people say it is just like dedicated servers HOWEVER, both of them do make pretty big differences but it's not a night and day difference

15 RepliesLuke and the other dude already said in a interview with IGN that consoles couldn't handle THEIR GAME ( destiny 2 ) @ 60FPS. Specifically the PlayStation 4 PRO. The Scorpio they didn't say about. And PC is uncapped. They said that there is just too much going on in the background in order to implement 60 Fps. Especially with this game being so massive. I'd take a better and more lengthy story, longer strikes, challenging enemies and just more of everything over a higher frame rate. They also said that there's no dedicated servers BUT they changed the priorities around based on the users connection. Of course this doesn't fix the lag switchers etc. The game looks gorgeous, the weapons look amazing, the new suspers looks fantastic and fun the story looks really interesting. And people are crying about Frame rates. We finally all get what we are asking for but people still find shite to complain about. If you want higher frame rates then go play another game. No one is forcing you to play destiny.
