Speaking of, why are none of the new planets ya know... planets? They're all moons and planetoids.
English
-
Because all of the solid planets have been used already besides mercury. And they probably want to save mercury for the Osiris DLC
-
Because the cabal blow up most planets and moons just for getting in their way. Maybe they are already blown up?
-
Ummm, you are joking right? Aside from Earth, Mercury, Mars, and Venus the only terrestrial bodies are moons, planetesimals, or asterotids The other planets in our solar system are all gas giants.
-
Yes mainly joking because they keep calling them planets when they're not. You're right except pluto (i know, not a planet, but better than moons). Pluto wasn't touched by the traveller I assume?
-
Io was the last
-
Pluto is a Dwarf Planet and the reef is around where the light past touched (from memory either that or the Jovians (bunch of moons around Jupiter)) so Pluto is way to far away
-
Actually, Jovians is referring to the Gas Giants. The four major moons of Jupiter( Io, Ganymede, Europa, and Callisto) are known as the Galilean Moons, due to being discovered in 1610 by Galileo Galilei. (Sorry, I'm a huge astronomy nerd.)
-
Jovians isn't referring to the gas giants, just the Jupiter system. You are correct that the 4 major moons are the Galilean moons, but those are a subset of all the moons of Jupiter. As a collective of all the moons, they are the Jovian moons. Anything beyond that would be considered trans-Jovian.
-
According to google, these are the definitions for Jovian: Adjective: 1. (In Roman mythology) of or like the god Jove (Or Jupiter). 2. Relating to the planet Jupiter or the class of giant planets to which Jupiter belongs. Noun: 1. A hypothetical or fictional inhabitant of the planet Jupiter. These definitions mean that Jovian in Destiny is either Jupiter itself, the gas planets as a whole, or inhabitants of Jupiter(the nine?), and not the moons of Jupiter.

Wow some of those spaces got really messed up

I don't mind being wrong (also knowing something and being confident about is nothing wrong . : 3 )
