The entire reveal had nothing special to offer. Im not hyped at all. Maybe its just me but what do you guys all think?
I also hate how the graphics looked identical to the the first destiny - not to mention the same animations being used
I dont see the point in having missons being based on re forming the Vanguard . I never had a atachment with any of those original characters other then Cayde.
Another thing. The supers..... it seems as if they came up with them in 10 minuites. Again, nothing getting me hyped about a turqoise flashing spear which looks exactly like the blade dancer.
Coming to think of it, this whole 'new game' is staring to feel like just another expansion.

okay I would believe you but I mean what else is there True that gameplay looked like the same dumb Ai from the 1st one and that did seem a little bit of a half fast made mission with good character diversion tho and the cinematics but then again theres Star Wars Battlefront 2 and COD WW2 and I'm already for a let down with COD so there this

21 Replies$60 DLC for the privilege of loosing all of your gear and starting from zero to build it back up just to have them knock it down...AGAIN. might have to pass anything you like will be nerfed into the ground. whats the point?
-
Cool dude, don't buy the game.
-
Hmmmmm
-
1 ReplyAnd are we just ignoring the fact that they were using the "new" abilities before the tower even got destroyed? Seems like a major design flaw.....
-
3 RepliesYou're entitled to your opinion. I was blown away. I think there are too many people with unreasonable expectations.
-
The campaign moments look great. It's like night and day compared to vanilla Destiny. At the very least, if you hate the way Destiny 2 handles leveling and weapon balance, the campaign looks worth the price of admission. However, I'm not sold on 4v4 only multiplayer. If I was more of a Destiny PvP junky, I'd be worried. I'll wait until after the beta to decide on buying the game.
-
It looks exactly like destiny 1, it's basically a dlc except they are telling people it's a full game and charging 60+

19 RepliesI can't shake that feeling that D2 will be just a rehash of Destiny and all of it's issues. From painfully tiny explorable landmass, to the lack of creativity. I wasn't impressed in any way by the live stream, and I watched it from beginning to end. I'm never pre-ordering a game again (Bungie can thank themselves for that), and there was nothing in this "Game Play Reveal" that inspired any kind of hype at all. I see D2 just being another letdown like Destiny, but now Bungie has the "permission" to simply take away any/all of your progress whenever they like. They broke that mold, and now they'll exploit it whenever their creativity wanes.
-
I was looking for show stoppers before I pre-order, I didn't see any.
-
1 ReplyI'm hyped but I'm nervous Bungie will screw up again.
-
1 ReplyExpectations: Low. That's just out of caution though. My mind cant possibly give this company high expectations due to being let down so many times before.
-
Disappointed ... Not pre ordering .... Not even gonna buy it . in fact the only way I'll play it is if someone buys me it .
-
1 ReplyTitan is Capt. America with his shield. Hunter is just Wukong from Warframe with his staff. Warlock looked cool.
-
I'm glad I didn't have high expectations, and haven't preordered. I didn't really see a better game, just a new game. I mean, they revealed there will be new areas to explore, new planets, new guns, new strikes, a new raid....holy cow you mean like all new games have, new stuff. Shouldn't this be a given? We shouldn't be blown away with new supers (the warlock sword, titan shield, hunter staff). We just got that in an expansion so nothing groundbreaking there. What else...they renamed primary/secondary/heavy weapon slots to kinetic/something/and something, wow. And my favorite, you can enter activities without going to orbit.....what a game changer. Lost sectors and treasure maps....like the one and done quests we have now. I wanted to see actual game improvements like potentially: - a fix for having to go to the menu during combat to use items, maybe weapon/item mapping to D-pad - character progression - ridiculous server issues - a more diverse skills tree for character customization - open world PVP that takes place in different locations - some actual questing on planets for NPCs, not one and done situations like we already have - customizable gear/weapons with more perk slots the better the gear is

2 RepliesI think it looks good. Definitely'll be fun to play with friends, just like the first one. And I've already see more story in the reveal than I did in the entirety of the first game.
-
1 ReplyThe only thing that made me "happy" was the clan inclusion..... which is -blam!-ing sad tbh. It's not bad but it didn't wow me, it's just the same thing but slightly bigger and cooler :/
-
2 RepliesGo pre-order another game . Lots of them on the market .
-
5 RepliesStill not pre-ordering till ive played beta, but thought it was ok, needed more gameplay reveal.
-
15 RepliesThey expect us to care about a city that we've never once stepped foot inside and have only seen through a 2D skybox? 4v4 PVP? 2017 and companies are still too cheap to put in dedicated servers? It's not like this is going to be a COD game where everyone quits after three months because a new one is nine months down the road. Adding activities to do in your large world besides killing the same -blam!-ing bosses every single day? Well that only took three years to accomplish. (As to what these activities are, and most importantly how repetitive they're going to be, still remains to be seen). All-in-all, D2 met my expectations: Low.
-
1 ReplyIt was exactly what I expected it to be. A continuation of the game and story. If you were expecting a brand new game/engine, then you are dumb.
-
The campaign and PvE content look great, don't know enough about PvP.
-
5 RepliesI like the idea of smaller teams, it'll make it easier for players to stand out and tactics will be more coherent to the enemy teams. Especially since an enemy super indicator will be available! I main a warlock so I'm happy with a sword super, but I feel kinda bad for hunters though.
-
PvE Looks amazing, but PvP being 4v4 is a major downer for me. I'm not looking forward to the beta anymore due to the PvP changes, but it might turn out okay. I seriously can't get over 4v4...

Edited by GamerCone: 5/18/2017 6:32:27 PMDon't know what you're expecting. I was absolutely giddy the entire time. The game looks great, the story is way more in depth and clear, the abilities look amazing, tons of new game modes. New form of ingame matchmaking/LFG. The rethought PVP. Clans matter. I couldn't be happier.
-
I had at least hoped that they would mention separate PvE and PvP mechanics... but no.
