Completely loved it. They have built a game from what all best players loved about Destiny 1. I say the best because all the cynics are scrubs with scrub issues. But these players should rejoice, because the Destiny team managed to find a genius way for those players to be less scruby...... Making an in game carry system. Nothing to hate. Best game ever incoming.

Did you see the HC sniping. Going to be Nerfed.

Edited by Level 2 on Easy: 5/19/2017 1:12:22 PMHonestly, everything looks great, the only thing that struck legitimate fear in me was the planets / moons. When the guy opened the director, it was only Earth, Titan, Io, and Nessus. Where did Venus go? Mars? Saturn? Europa? The Moon? The Reef? Don't tell me those are the only 3 planets to play on!! Here we go again with only 3 places to go to. There's no excitement of going to Titan, Io, and Nessus if they're part of a main storyline that you go to immediately. Those planets need to be the last places in the quest. Mars, Venus and the Moon better be in D2. I can already see it now. The game will be action packed for the first month and then everything will be done and completed and people will get bored. You can't expect people to stay enthused to play if you only offer 3 places to go. We need scenery. Color. Hues. Different flora and fauna to lool at, to explore. The scare is, is that's how Destiny one shipped. D1 gave us Earth, Moon, Venus and Mars and that was it. I'm afraid these three showcased are going to be the only ones available. Don't let my nightmare come true Bungie. Give us the Nine, Reef, Moon, Venus, Mars and Mercury to explore on top of Io, Titan, Nessus and the European deadzone. A solar system of infinite possibilities and action from planet to planet.

I'm hyped. I'm a little bit upset that most people in the forums don't know what a sequel is... Maybe they wanted destiny 2 to open up to everyone running around in the caveman times with sticks and rocks with nothing to do with destiny.
-
LIKE if your a FAN BOY. If you want I can crap in a box and call crap 2 and you can get excited about it. Sorry I would be more excited, but I'm mostly interested in how the gear and weapons work and are configured. How rewards will be earned. VAULT SPACE, DEDICATED servers for PVP, etc. I'm sure in the weeks to come there will be something to be hyped about.

The game basically brings what D1 should've brought right from the start: - Clan support - Ingame LFG - A story (prettly flar one though) - more pvp modes other than "shoot shit" Nothing groundbreaking here. The questions are: How big are those new worlds? How well made is the raid? How unique are the live events? How challenging are the challenges? And far more interesting are these questions: Dedicated Servers? 60FPS? 60/60Hz Tickrate? PvP/PvE Separation in terms of changes? Same SBMM bullshit?

I am super hyped for this. I legit cannot wait for this game.

I was kind if sad when it looked like call of duty meets overwatch meets doom meets halo..... then I noticed the heavy they were using is the missing exotic that was supposed to be in year 1.... then I noticed one of the "new areas" has been in destiny 1 for a long time on venus you just have to sparrow fly glitch to get to it...... and it looked like it was going to be for the raid..... so I lollllled when the realization hit..... that I just paid money again for cut content.

I must be the only one ok with the 4v4. I do like 6v6, but more than that would just be annoying. Bf4 has more players, yes, but the aren't throwing around nova bombs and hammers. It is also simulating war. That's fun, but I like the smaller maps, personally, with fewer players even in battlefield type games. We would basically be playing mayhem clash all the time. Jus my opinion. But I'd like more thoughtful pvp than just spawning in to get killed by a super. Bigger does not always mean better.

Bungie didn't answer our questions. I think I heard in one of the video when lead writer said "10 new story missions". Guided Games - still confused about it. Have to join clan just to do the raid or join event? Or just join mission and later to join clan. Bungie didn't say this is the full game and nothing is broken into DLC the DLC are two full games being added to D2.

Edited by xI Vorpal Ix: 5/18/2017 10:07:42 PMThis is not looking good, feel robbed. 30 FPS on console can Scorpio and a 1080p 60 mode on Pro turn this around? Don't count on it. You F'n know they can too. it's for Parity with PS4 and XB1. No dedicated servers except on PC maybe given PC is coming after. Does any one find that odd?? they get uncapped frame rate which means PC 30 FPS player will play vs 60 FPS but consoles can't?? There are alot of epic games coming out end of year. I think Bungie f'd up

I'm skeptical. I haven't played Destiny in quite a while, didn't buy Rise of Iron(?). But I can remember how much I enjoyed the game when I first bought it. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it, but I'm hoping there's more things to do and it's a little less repetitive. If I do buy it, ultimately it will be how they handle the DLC and such that will dictate how long I play for.

I'm on the destiny 2 PvP hype train. CHOO CHOO MOTHER-blam!-ERS! STICKIES DON'T ONE SHOT ANYMORE!!!!!!! CHOOOOOO -blam!-ING CHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
-
It's strange because what I saw I really liked. Yet I'm still not totally convinced. What we witnessed was a slice of what Destiny 2 could be. If the rest of the game is up to this quality then I'm all for it. The Inverted Spire strike did look a lot of fun - especially with that giant rotating drill section. I'll be happier once Bungie goes into more specific details about things like Guided Games, the new 4v4 crucible and just how much content there actually will be. And now when I see Destiny 2 in action all I can think of is No Mans Sky - I have no idea why...
-
My hype train doesn't leave the station till I see gameplay. I saw gameplay. The train left on schedule.

Edited by Douchebag_LvL10: 5/19/2017 5:50:45 AMKinda bummed but I'm waiting on that beta test. I'm not sold at all... I really wanted to but... eh...
How to get FREE beta test: preorder at GameStop, play beta. No good? Cancel. Save your money in case it's a flop.
-
I seriously feel overwhelmed by the feelings that D2 is giving me. I physically feel like I can't wait for the beta.
-
I'm very hyped. With that being said... Asking someone if they're excited and hyped is like asking someone who jumped in the pool if they're wet and covered with water.
-
Didn't watch what happened?
-
As long as we've got enough space this time around I'll be happy
-
I get hyped and excited when I get a new emblem or shader. >;}
