My body flew backward as the bullet hit. I floated above my body as if I was a phantom. I looked around but could not see myself. I quickly checked myself to make sure I didn't have any bullet holes in my chest. After I had confirmed this, I turned on Galon. "What was that?!" I yelled. Galon said with a questioning look. "Yes, Andal Brask, the hunter vanguard is planning a rebellion." Galon's head snapped up. "What?" he asked in shock. "He is gathering the Warlords in an attempt to overthrow Lysander and the Concordat." "This is an interesting development." Galon said thoughtfully. "Also the warlock vanguard has been killed." I said. "And this is worth my time?" "Lysander killed her. With some kind of nanotechnology. Something they found in old Russia." Galon looked at me and said, "Well, I hope she suffered." I looked down, remembering Ikora's screams. "I'll come back when I have more." I said. I turned and walked away. Far off, in a secret lab hidden underneath the tower, Lysander bent over a a small glass tank reinforced by a force field. "How are you doing, my little experiment?" He laughed and turned to his desk. Scattered drawings lay across it depicting his ideas. His servant entered and said, "Sir, we have intercepted a holomessage viewing. From Andal Brask to Citan the warlord." Lysander turned around. "What was it about?" "He is enlisting the Warlords help in an attempt to overthrow you and the concordat." "How did we intercept it? I thought Citan's fortress was shielded?" "whoever delivered the message must have viewed it illegally." replied the servant. "Do you want us to arrest Andal?" the servant asked.
