The Crux of Darkness won't complete
I picked up a Husk of the Pit this morning and spent half a day grinding Hive until I was able to upgrade it to the Eidolon Ally, but the first step of the quest, The Crux of Darkness, still hasn't completed. Are there any additional conditions that must be fulfilled in order to complete this step of the quest?

3 RepliesJust curious, what light level is your husk? Just want to make sure you're not using the year one version to do the year two quest. The old version required you to kill something like 500 hive, which could take all day. The new one requires you to kill a specific type of hive enemies, and I did mine in about 15 minutes.

Please read the actual node on your Husk of the Pit instead of trying to follow a walkthrough; the node may give you more specifics on what you need to be killing.

You have to talk to the speaker, then he will have you put 25 notes of light into it to "cleanse" it

If you have already killed the Wizards, Knights or thrall that were specific to your guns requirements the next step is to see the speaker, then Eris, then do the Crota's end raid.

sounds like it is not the correct husk you need one that either needs thrall, wizard or knight kills
