I'm curious. Year 1 player, and have seen a ton of weapons from the OG Shadow Price, to the new stuff like Palindrome. List your favorite guns here and why. All this huff puff about iron banner and trials is nerve wracking. We are supposed to be becoming legend, now share your stories of you favorite weapon of choice and why you chose it against the most formidable adversaries you faced in Destiny!
I love the Palindrome and Eyasluna, and the original Hung Jury with extended mag and firefly. If I had to choose though, it has to go to Fatebringer. I know, this is a popular one, but this weapon is a fine representation of stopping power, utility, and very snappy handling. All of which I look for in a primary, regardless of pvp or pve. Some of the new guardians have recently gotten their hands on this legend of a weapon, and I'm certain it doesn't disappoint, although it's only an distant image of what it once was.
Remember Arc Burn Skolas!? I had this baby glued to my hand through a lot of that fight. Still my most challenging boss encounter to date. I went through a lot with that weapon. Even to this day. It holds a special place with me, and is always up for nomination into my primary slot. Cayde can keep his Ace of Spades, the Fatebringer, is just the finest weapon ever crafted in destiny in my opinion.

Plan C because it's just so freaking snappy and quick

Year 1 bringer of fates

2 RepliesVoc found verdict ghorn. That combo was great. For year 2 plus it's raze lighter matador and...well no primary really stands out. Burning eye is extremely good in PVE but doesn't have the same feel as y1
-
1 ReplyThe Nifty Biscuit. Just a blue handcannon but i loved the name.
-
I love the auto rifle The Answering Chord. Used that a lot before trying scout and pulse rifles. But ill stll use it once in a while.
-
1 ReplyThat's a hard one. I tried to find a weapon with a little more character, but at the end of the day I have to give it to a legendary LMG all the way back from The Dark Below called Against All Odds. In the Crucible, it's a three shot kill. I've kept it after all this time.

Tuonela SR4 is probably the best sounding primary in the game and one of the most consistent, so I'd say it's the best

God role continental

Thorn or Chaperone

Og VoC, it was a lazy mans weapons but still pretty solid and that 27 round mag. The only thing that gets close to it is the suros dis-43. My current favorite is the vacancy, the last vendor roll.

The cry baby Nerf gun best ever hands down
-
Sleeper Simulant all the way. I've always had the Sleeper on my back while in the tower, and I'm proud of it.

Saterienne rapier in year two, from the crucible vendor. Who would of though Fatebringer would be reincarnated into a scout rifle?
-
Raze Lighter

I guess I have to list the exotic Primary Mida Multi tool. It's been my go to since vanilla Destiny. Only replace it for bounties, burns, or ToM for Kings Fall.
