Edited by THE SARGE 01: 5/11/2017 5:06:58 PMUse the non adept version in the raid so that you can equip a more powerful exotic for DPSing Atheon.
-
You must use the adept un-leveled if you raid. Best way to get accepted into lfg groups!
-
Imago.

Edited by Astro Umi: 5/11/2017 12:42:00 PMThey both suck, get a scout rifle.
sorry it's true lol
-
They both suck. The one with arc damage sucks less. Wait, the one with arc damage prevents you from equipping a different exotic. They both suck.
-
The adept has an element It used to be legendary with an element Down with fakebringer, give us our raid guns back
-
One takes up your Dark-Drinker slot.
-
I use regular. I don't really care much for the adepts.
-
Fatebringer normal, icebreaker and hunger of crota.
😉
-
I have no words...
-
Basically Yellow or purple
-
You couldn't figure that out by looking at them?
-
The exotic has arc burn. That is the only difference
-
Legendary Fatebringer, for the most part, will be your go-to gun. The Adept version is good on arc burn strikes, but that's about it. Anything else and you're better off using your exotic slot for a heavy or special. On the subject of Fatebringer, I recommend using Sureshot IS for your sights, and Explosive Rounds in the middle column. Even though explosive rounds often makes Firefly/Outlaw fail to proc, it's practically a necessity to counteract all of the hand cannon range nerfs brought about by PvP (explosive rounds have no damage falloff).

Edited by kellygreen45: 5/10/2017 2:20:51 PMArc damage on the Adept version. That's all. Unless you want/need that arc damage....just use the legendary version. It gives you more loadout options. But the adept is a crowd-control BEAST in any strike that has an arc burn modifier.
-
My imago loop... Unless you need arc burn and you don't have any of the other arc primaries.
-
Exotic has burn legendary does not. Thats it
-
Year 3 noob here boys
-
Exo version has arc damage. Isnt worth it youre better off using sth like a zhalo supercell
-
The adept has arc damage. Keep both. Use the exotic in nightfalls/heroic strikes when there is arc burn so it will be twice as powerful. I ONLY use the adept version when there is arc burn active. Every time I raid or play when there isn't a burn I use the legendary version.
-
Wait since explosive rounds deal solar damage , doesn't that make the normal fatebringer to be solar version?
-
Edited by RichGhost77: 5/10/2017 7:18:54 AMNo difference, they are both exactly the same.
oh except for the glaringly obvious difference 🤓
-
NEITHER...both of these new versions are abominations and should never have been brought to life. There is only one true Fatebringer. The year 1 version, legendary with arc burn. My Imago Loop is now better than this new "Fatebringer", especially with the nerf to HC range.
