• I am a ME fan, I have no conspiracy theories, and I thought it was very very average. 2nd worst entry into the series imho.

 • I noticed something upsetting the more paranoid players, it's so secret that bioware is progressive. The first game allowed you to have interracial/specie lesbian sex I think it's just bandwagon crowd hysteria seeing how the newest trend around teens is to hate anything that is 'politically correct' Like I'm further right than most and the fact that some side character was trans or some shit that upset people doesn't bother me. Also that controversy around making the female default not as hot as the model is probably just because all the faces in that game are ugly.

 • And that stuff wouldn't bother me either if it wasn't such an obvious ploy to be politically correct. Forcing stuff like that is just bad writing. That's the trend in media nowadays. Or always really. Forcing progressiveness.

Out of hundreds of characters one is trans, out of the dozen people on the tempest one is black ect.

 • *sigh* Forced as in it doesn't occur smoothly and naturally. CLEARLY I wasn't implying Bioware was being held at gunpoint. I feel like you're trolling me at this point.

 • Why wouldn't people hate political correctness? It puts feeling over fact.

 •
Why wouldn't people hate political correctness? It puts feeling over fact.
It's just another buzzword to get people mad at boogeymen. It's the new less impactful way of calling people who disagree with you communists or gay. Fact over feeling is pretty stupid half the time anyway, it's a fact that alcohol isn't healthy, doesn't mean people should be refused access to it. Plus the whole killing Osama thing was feeling over fact.

 •
calling people who disagree with you communists or gay.
So it's about silencing people according to you. Ironic considering that's exactly what political correctness does.
Fact over feeling is pretty stupid half the time anyway
Do you realize how mind numbingly stupid that sounds? Are you suggesting feeling has more merit than fact?
It's a fact that alcohol isn't healthy, doesn't mean people should be refused access to it
Who is refused access to it? Waiting on a better analogy from you. Also what the hell does bin Laden have to do with political correctness?

calling people who disagree with you communists or gay.
So it's about silencing people according to you. Ironic considering that's exactly what political correctness does.
If it was real sure.

Fact over feeling is pretty stupid half the time anyway
Do you realize how mind numbingly stupid that sounds? Are you suggesting feeling has more merit than fact?
I'm suggesting fact shouldn't impact personal freedoms.

It's a fact that alcohol isn't healthy, doesn't mean people should be refused access to it
Who is refused access to it? Waiting on a better analogy from you.
Luckily nobody is, because we as a society put the fact that beer isn't healthy behind the feeling we get when drinking.
Also what the hell does bin Laden have to do with political correctness?
It's a fact that killing Osama cost a shit ton and we get little return, it's like sentencing naži's after ww2, half of them were old and unlikely to reoffended, the fact is you'll be wasting money on the trial, we should still sentence them.
If it was real sure.
I'm honestly starting to believe you're a troll. If you say anything even remotely "mean" or that people disagree with you are socially crucified and your argument labelled invalid. That's political correctness. If you're honestly telling me that isn't happening then you aren't paying attention or you're willfully ignorant. Or like I said you're trolling.
I'm suggesting fact shouldn't impact personal freedoms.
1. Irony again because that's political correctness in a nutshell. 2. It doesn't. Anytime we've lost a personal freedom or had it restricted(or not had it to begin with depending on what we're talking about) it's because someone thinks it's bad or scary or whatever random reason. Think gun control. Is that fact or feeling? Fact has nothing to do with it 9 times out of 10.
Luckily nobody is, because we as a society put the fact that beer isn't healthy behind the feeling we get when drinking.
There was the Prohibition where we lost that right actually. Caused by an emotional panic by religious folk essentially. Not by factual studies.
It's a fact that killing Osama cost a shit ton and we get little return, it's like sentencing naži's after ww2, half of them were old and unlikely to reoffended, the fact is you'll be wasting money on the trial, we should still sentence them.
That's all very true, but I'll ask you again since this answer doesn't even address what I asked, what does killing bin Laden have to do with political correctness?
