This. 100% this.
Destiny was at its most fun when it launched. Badass guns and space magic.
Then the whiny nerf cries and "balancing" started, and what followed was a downward spiral of our guardians getting less and less powerful.
D2 would be better off without Trials or anything like it. The PvP can be fast and crazy and fun like it used to be. If it's unbalanced who cares (I for one certainly don't care).
Also, please Bungie never utter "MLG" again. That only makes the problem worse.

Ugh, hate MLG. I immediately get the stereotypical gamer image with Doritos and Mountain Dew when I think of MLG, Bungie should never pursue anything with them.
