It's possibly the most frustrating part of the game. Does it have a place, sure, let the pvp gods be top of the pile, but it certainly needs some tweaks to make it a viable part of the game for the large percentage of players who just avoid it. Skill based matchmaking, that's a thing, put it to use Player matchmaking, why not? All other pvp modes have it. Weekly changes (no nades, melee, radar, super, etc) would be fun, and mix it up a bit. Leaderboards..... that's the glory to give the top people, not the lighthouse.
