Unfortunately you are gonna get more negative votes than possessive... like you said, these type of posts normally come from below average players, and since there are more of those players than any other you will get hammered with negative votes.
The real solution will be to separate PvP from PvE, or even, separate Trials from the rest of PvP.
I agree trials is whats has been keeping this game alive for the last year, or at least the main reason. As you can see, most of the people voting against trials are below average crucible players.
I do agree that there needs to be a distinction between Trials and how affect other PvP game modes, but that's about it.
I also agree that sometimes the atmosphere behind Trials is toxic, but unfortunately this is what happens when you create an elitist playlist, some of them will irremediable be self centered pr...cks.

Edited by Mr Fats: 5/6/2017 10:45:00 AMI didnt say most people were playing PvP, I said trials is the main reason why this game is alive, which is different. Streamers, youtubers etc peak during trials, very few people watch them play PvE, because lets face it, PvE is not challenging anymore. Nobody wants to watch someone doing patrol, or a strike, or at least I dont. And these so hated streamers is what is keeping this game alive, like it or not. Gives bungie the publicity they need, and it brings the game to a higher status since it has a more competitive base. For example, I play more PvE than PvP, mostly because before I play PvP and normally play a bit of PvE. Ooops, just saw your edit lol, sorry!
