Sick of post like this in this forum. If destiny only depends on PVE, destiny will be already dead long time ago. PVP especially trials keep destiny alive right now, there's 200k++ players still waiting and playing trials every weekend. if you suck at pvp, please stop posting about removing trials. just don't play it. You can adapt on every hot fix and meta, and yeah sometimes it sucks because people abuse the meta, i really hope bungie can be more balance on destiny 2 but NOT TO REMOVE COMPETITIVE PVP. It's what most of people enjoy it!

  • Destiny has, on average, about 50% more players in pve than pvp every day (even when trials are on, and even during the pve droughts). Having said that, competitive pvp should remain as an inside activity in Destiny 2 as it does add variety to the title...but, bungie has to keep the 2 worlds apart, what may be good for pvp may not be good for pve and vice versa. If they sort that out Destiny 2 will be ok for every player.

  • Preston what you're going to understand is what makes Destiny such an amazing because it has so much to offer. I would not like it if I didn't have both PVE and PVP that's what makes it special. What Gidget such draw is that there are your hardcore gamer if you only play PVP and your casual gamers who play PVE that's why there's a lot more of them because they're just casual gamers usually even if they play it a lot like I do I like the option to play PVP when I want to

  • I'm talking about the nerfs mate...they should keep changes to the 2 different modes separate, not 2 different titles...

  • I like pvp an pve, trials is the most competitive content and if not for pvp I think destiny would of burnt out long ago!

  • I'm bad at pvp but i can either try and get good by playing it more or just do pve. Fact is you don't have to do something like trials or crucible and equally to those crucible players you don't have to do raids etc. Surely choice is the point.

  • I agree, but I think the beef is the nerfing of weapons because of PvP. I just wish one wouldn't effect the other.

  • Unfortunately you are gonna get more negative votes than possessive... like you said, these type of posts normally come from below average players, and since there are more of those players than any other you will get hammered with negative votes. The real solution will be to separate PvP from PvE, or even, separate Trials from the rest of PvP. I agree trials is whats has been keeping this game alive for the last year, or at least the main reason. As you can see, most of the people voting against trials are below average crucible players. I do agree that there needs to be a distinction between Trials and how affect other PvP game modes, but that's about it. I also agree that sometimes the atmosphere behind Trials is toxic, but unfortunately this is what happens when you create an elitist playlist, some of them will irremediable be self centered pr...cks.

Take a look at Destiny tracker, there are nearly double the amount of people playing pve over pvp. So no, it's not the reason the majority are playing Destiny atm. Edit, meant to reply to op

I didnt say most people were playing PvP, I said trials is the main reason why this game is alive, which is different. Streamers, youtubers etc peak during trials, very few people watch them play PvE, because lets face it, PvE is not challenging anymore. Nobody wants to watch someone doing patrol, or a strike, or at least I dont. And these so hated streamers is what is keeping this game alive, like it or not. Gives bungie the publicity they need, and it brings the game to a higher status since it has a more competitive base. For example, I play more PvE than PvP, mostly because before I play PvP and normally play a bit of PvE. Ooops, just saw your edit lol, sorry!
