Considering a pyromancy build for dark souls 3. Any tips on weapons, armor, spells, stats?

    • Great Chaos Fire Orb deals [i]more[/i] damage than the Chaos Bed Vestiges, if the lava hits too, thus making it better for slower enemies. Basic Pyromancy Flame has the highest damage. Parting Flame is second, and can be nice if you have Estus trouble, but otherwise stick with the basic. <3 Witch's Locks. I have a thread with NUMBERS called "Let's Talk Pyromancy (DaSIII)" if you want to look for it. The basic Fireball has a very good FP/DMG ratio, if you don't need to take down enemies fast. I don't use the Dark spells because of Roleplay, but Black Fire Orb seems nice.

        • 40/40 Int/Faith. Enough atn for 5 slots. Need enough mana to be comfortable. Minimum str/dex purely for weapon requisites. Pure pyro, your ring slots are a commodity. Gotta take both the Pyro boosting rings. In PvE, Fire Clutch Ring or bust. There''s a 4th ring that's real good but I forget what it is... I rock Astora Str8sword. Infusions scale pretty damn well. Chaos infusion or Dark infusion. Fire or deep but ONLY until you get chaos or dark. Early game raw infusions are solid for ASS. Forget whethet you can Carthus Flame buff a raw ASS. Probably one of each; dark and chaos. . Estoc scales real well too. The claymore from AoA that has that weapon art where it ignites with dark damage is good. Do not neglect the dark pyromancies. Karl is Topwaifu. Fact. If you're interested in pvp I have a couple videos saved. Not my content. Little bit more advanced stuff. Pyro combos.

        • SL 700 and for me Pyro is so broken. I just fire ball everything even in invasions if I hit you half your health goes bye bye. Assisting other players bosses I go Pyro and laugh when that boss they have a ton of trouble with just melts.

        • Weapons: carthus curved, pontiff curved, sunlight straightsword, demons scar, onyx blade, or even witches locks. You could also use something like the moonlight greatsword if you really want to. Chaos inducement on anything would be good, though you will also want a raw/sharp/refined/heavy secondary. Spells: chaos bed vestiges is a given. Great chaos fire orb is good as well but can be substituted for fire black fire orb if you don't want to use all your attunement slots. Most other pyromancies are situational imo (though you will have high enough faith and int to also use most sorceries and miracles if you'd like). Stats. At least 40 int, 40 faith (50/50 is more ideal). 20-25 dex. Rest depends on what weapons you go with. High attunement is also preferable. Armor: fashion souls it up.
