Why doesn't Knuckles of Eao work
It is crazy that I can't get vex.I popped 2 k.o.e and still didn't get it RNG shouldn't have to play a role if you done this 2 already. Someone answer why I can't get vex even if I popped 2 of them on 2 characters

You consume it, then walk right up to a Cabal, then POW! Right in the kisser. With any luck, an exotic will drop, as well as some teeth (if the Cabal have teeth, that is.)

Got the Vex on all 4 accounts, and never used knuckles..lucky I guess?

1 ReplyNot sure if coincidence or not but, Vex wasn't dropping for me. I still had my Y1 Vex in the Vault. I decided to dismantle it, and the very next VOG I did it dropped for me. I know probably didn't mean anything, but it was kinda of strange.

1 ReplyThe Vex is a standard (if rare) drop from the VoG raid from year 1 and has nothing to do with the items dropped due to the Bones. The BoE effect drops from raid challenges but the Vex can drop when you do the standard raid without the weekly challenges active (my Vex dropped last week). So it is your luck not the BoE that is at fault.

It is an uncommon drop, but it gets more common once you have collected most of the adepts for that raid, rng works so that you have a higher chance of getting something you don't have. That's how I got mine today :) Edit: it also has a chance dropping when it is not challenge, I have seen about 5 drop this way. It is a lot more rare though because you can only get 1 drop at atheon and everything in the loot table (except for class items, artefacts, and the ghost) is a possible drop.

Hell, I got Vex on my first 390 run of VoG last time it was the weekly. Didn't even use Eaos for it.

1 ReplyVex is a rare drop. You should only be using one knuckle of eao at a time. Vex can drop even when it's not challenge.

It says extra drops. Not better drops.

1 ReplyRNG is RNG. Knuckles don't guarantee anything. They just give you more chances to get it.

The knuckles give you another drop, you are not getting lucky enough
