Ok so why not? Lets reverse it...how about icebreaker regens ammo like the invective and you have to reload the ammo 1 painstakingly bullet at a time. Would you still use icebreaker? Invective basically has the shittier version of same perk. The difference is snipers get the convenience and shotgunners dont. Btw im not even a shotgunner...im a fusioneer. Its very hard to even shotgun anymore cuz crucible plays so passive now anyway plus invective is a weak ass shotty to begin with. What would be wrong with just refining its regen perk to have same benefit as snipers? Hell, id even say give a fusion rifle the same perk as icebreaker too so every weapon type and every style player has an option like this. That would be way more of an equal playing field. But nope...snipers and sidearms get the benefit and fusions and shotties are shit outta luck.
