Everyone trusted Bungie at that point. Now they do not. People put in maybe 10 pct of hours that they put into year 1 for year 3. With nothing carrying over, there is no point in playing. Plus seeing how you can buy everything at year 3 for a fraction of the cost. Just wait. Also because they do not let you bring year 1 gear forward. They do not reward the long time players.

We play because it's fun. The game isn't the job. If you don't have fun with it then don't play. personally I had fun with it and am looking forward to a new adventure
