The already said you have to pay for two expansions but unlikely D1 they said they'll keep throwing FREE story content all year long so players are kept engaged all year long and the next.

It's not free. You have to buy the dlc to get free content unlocked.

Delete roi and try to play the 390 raid update. You can not. It's not free.
-
It doesn't bother me if it's not. I'm just telling you we will get more content this time around free or not free.

Time will tell. I'm just quoting the article.

I am sorry. I would have to see to believe.

Edited by Mike: 4/29/2017 4:28:22 PMI'm in the same boat as you. And as much as I would love to live in a world where good meaty content would be dropped on a monthly basis. Without a subscription fee I just don't see it happening. And even with a subscription fee it would be kind of impossible for them to feed us good lasting monthly content. They only way would be to chop up the game even more than they usually do.
-
Yeah well. With a game like Destiny and the companies behind it, it wouldn't surprise me if they start charging a subscription fee for exclusive content after Destiny 2 year 1

Activision, we always think of the *consumer first. *consumers wallet. Maximize profit, minimize content. Look at CoD. Look at their ps3 re-releases, not even remastered.

If you could show me the source, that would be great. Might convince me to buy. -

You lost me when Activision "said"...

Hm... I mean, they never really said they'd be free content updates, they're just saying that content drops will be more frequent. -
Free content will apply to those up to date with expansions. I 99% guarantee. If I'm wrong, I'll readily admit my mistake. But this is Activision we're talking about
-
Well no. But either way I'm a fan. I love destiny and would gladly pay a monthly subscription(if that what they're going for) if it means monthly new content.
