That sounds pretty stupid to me, no offense. D2 the base game is larger than D1 and all its expansions. Hopefully, they've learned that people want bigger more expansive games and larger more enjoyable DLCs. And honestly, no one will be playing old content with you if you buy the full game 4 DLCs in.

Again, proof?

The size of the game in terms of storage. D1 with all its DLCs are listed at 60 something GB. D2 is a little more.

The size of the game doesn't always reflect the amount of content. -
Obviously thats been taken into account already, but looking at some better quality games like zero dawn. Do you really think that it would require all the space of ALL THE DLCS and the base game to increase frame rate and graphics without adding more content?

It's very possible. Halo 5 took up more space than the Master Chief Collection, if I recall correctly, and in my view, Halo 5 had less content than MCC. -
But do you believe the bungie did that... Again? Also this doesn't include the DLCs To come.

It's not really Bungie that is the problem. It's Activision. And yes. -
That means nothing.
-
Clearly because D2 takes up more physical space than ALL OF D1 AND ITS EXPANSIONS for no reason. And you'd assume that Activision learned something from the negative reviews of D1... But apparently thats not how your brain works.
