[b][u]Relic Warfare:[/u][/b]
Everyone spawns in, and it gives you the option of a Hive sword, Vault shield, or tomb husk. All relic bearers gain an effect: archaic shielding-the bearer is immune to non-relic damage. Dropping your relic destabilizes the shield, automatically killing you.
General changes:
-Dropping the Vault shield no longer wipes the team
-Supercharge timer increased by 25 seconds
-Grenades are disabled
-Relic melee abilities have massive aim assist and lunge
[b]Tomb husks:[/b]
-When you hold a tomb husk, agility is maxed out and sprint cooldown is removed
-Wheb you press the shoot button/trigger, you slam the tomb husk on the enemy's skull, instantly killing them. This ability has a ready-up timer (like how you cannot use the shield for a split second after you slam it down)
-Melee charge timer is decreased when tomb husk is held
-Melees are now faster than meleeing with sword and shield
-Tomb husk's super: throw it. When it lands, it detonates like a rift bomb. One reappears in your hands after the super is consumed.
-Tomb husk super damage calculated to OHK through Hive sword shield
[b]Hive sword:[/b]
-Sword now has a blocking ability; blocked melees, trigger hits, and supers deal 2/3 damage-you can block three shots, then it has to recharge
-Recharge timer for shield set to 7 seconds
-Sword melee attack deals normal melee damage
-Sword trigger attack OHKs when it direct hits an enemy-AoE deals normal melee damage
-Sword ready-up timer increased to match time of Vault shield
-Sword super damage increased to still OHK when enemy is blocking
-While blocking, the bearer is slower, but not as slow as regular sword blocking. Bearer can move as fast as a jog.
-Sword super timer increased by 20 seconds, not 25
[b]Vault shield:[/b]
-Pressing the trigger while in midair no longer launches you to the ground for an AoE attack, it does the trigger attack you do on the ground, but it midair
-Trigger attack OHKs, but has a ready-up time
-Shield trigger attack timer decreased by .5 seconds compared to the tomb husk and sword trigger timers
-Melee attack slowed to the speed of the Hive sword attack
-Vault shield ability no longer creates a bubble; the shield encases only your Guardian, making him immune to all melee and trigger attacks for 2 seconds. After the shield is dropped, the Guardian takes 2/3 damage for 1 second. It has a 8 second cooldown. The Gaurdian cannot move while shielded, but can move during the 1 second on increased armor
-Vault shield can not be cancelled halfway through shielding to save some charge; cancalling the shield with time left still requires 5 seconds for a full recharge
-Vault super now has overpenetration
Tomb husks are the quickest of the two relics, sacrificing a shield for speed and quicker melee attacks.
Hive swords are a good balance, allowing some speed, and a boost with the sword swing, but do not swing as fast as the other relics. Their super is charged faster.
Vault shield is a slower and heavier attacking relic, although its OHK is faster charging. It is good for zone controlling for engaging multiple enemies.
