What do Spartans do when they get boners...seriously?

That was a potential side effect, the suppressed sex drive, potential. Not to mention that it only applies to Spartan-IIs, the augmentation process of Spartan-IIIs was different, thus they would not have this side effect. Of course, this would be one of the last things a Spartan would be thinking about, especially in combat situations.

I asume that Spartans get hormones which kill their sex drive along with their ability to get boners.

I could see it at the beachhead 6 looks down at his nutz and is like umm minor inconvenionce but um team ive got a hardon umm do you think this will jepprodise the mission in anyway whatsoever * noble team looks at him and walks away* then 6 is like well then ill take that as a no , and the mission continues.

They are never given the Sex talk on Reach. Part of their training include going from hard to soft using the mind because they are taught boners are evil and learning to soften them is like learning to fight evil with their minds.

they have little to no sex drive, so unless the -blam!- was being physically stimulated, he would not get a boner. But for the most part, they can't get it up!
