What sword combos are you using to damage Crota?
So last night I was trying different combos on Crota and was able to get him just below the "t" using slash, slash, uppercut, slam on first down and then repeating and adding a super slam after the last slam on the second down.
What combos are you guys using to do maximum damage when taking the sword, and what is your best damage using one sword?

3 RepliesTitan pops weapon bubble with illuminated up top you hit r1 r1 r2 r2 r1 go back to the bubble then hit r1 r1 r2 super slam r2 r1 and run away.. He'll only have 1/4th of his health left

1 ReplyWeapons of Light > 4 slams (I can only get 4 with the boots on but 3 does the job) > 4 slams . 4th slam's animation cancelled by the super. Then the second guy finish him off usually with 3 and 2. I've done the slam, slash, slash, uppercut, combo but it's way to much button smashing and it's not convenient getting him enraged on the first sword. I love running first sword just so I can show off and assert my dominance . After I'm done with the 4x4xSuper combo I jump off to middle, let go of the relic, activate my super and golden gun the Oversoul. I usually get a request a second later when I pull it off, feeding my ego.

I do RT x 4, then 3 and a super. Any more and I think he may enrage.

Edited by zxionisus: 4/29/2017 4:54:59 AMI use right, right, left, right, up, down, triangle, square. When it says "FINISH HIM!!!" In the screen under Crota, press forward, forward, then uppercut. It will cause Crota to fall 40 feet onto a bed of spikes.

I do RB, RB, RT, RT, RT and for second down RB, RB, RT, RT, Super and another RB if I can squeeze it in

1 ReplyI use the combo of run-at-him-while-he-kneels-and-die-from-his-laggy-delayed-slam. Works every time...and by "works" I mean "wipe"...

2 RepliesFirst down, 3 slams. Second down, 2 slams and a super. With a weapons bubble on the rock each phase. Takes him down in 2 phases, no ogres necessary.

Pop weapons bubble 3-4 slams yes 3-4 it is possible. Then 3 slams and a super. My best is getting his health down to the O in Crota...my average is the T though. We 2 sword him.

Slash then slam as many as you can. If you hit 7 slams total you can 2 sword crota.

I have titan pop weapon of light bubble on the rock I jump in the bubble and do Slash Slam Slam Slam Jump back in bubble Slash Slam Slam Super Slam If you can hit all 6 slams and a super with weapons of light, the next time you take down Crota you can kill him. So you can two sword Crota

1 ReplyLast night I was the last sword bearer and needed just 3 hits. So it went 1, 2, enrage, then I fell off the platform trying apparently my hardest to choke. I then jumped as high as I could and mashed the slash button to crota and finished with a heavy uppercut. Do not recommend.

Probably a slash and 2 slams, or 3 slams for the first, then 2 -3 slams and a super on the second, usually gets him past half health, sometimes I get him almost 1/4 health, sometimes just half. It just depends on the speed I get up there and when I'm starting to do damage. If I can get up there and start slamming as he begins to kneel, it's usually a good run, down to almost 1/4. if I slam and he had just knelt down already it's like 2/5-1/2 health left. There's a few other things that go into it, weapons bubble helps tremendously and remembering to use super slam. Countless times people left him at a sliver while enraged because they didn't even know what the super was.
