Netflix's Iron Fist
So I have been watching this show & honestly, I do not like it. I was very excited that it was coming out, but it just feels like the dude is a whiny little rich brat.
Now, I am not overly familiar with the Iron Fist comics, but I have seen him a lot in the cartoons, especially Ultimate Spider-Man & I really like his character there.
After seeing Daredevil, Luke Cage & Jessica Jones, as well as being introduced to the new Punisher, I just felt Iron Fist was not up to par.
I am kinda wondering what other folks thoughts are on the show & hoping maybe people who like it can shed some light on why they like it and maybe help me keep my interest to the end.
TLDR: I am not digging the show, are you? If so, why.

I have yet to try to watch it. I like Daredevil alot, however I've tried to keep watching Jessica Jones and just can't do it. For some reason just can't get into that one.

It wasn't that good. Idk if I would consider it a terrible show but it was the worst one of the 4. I give it a 6/10

3 RepliesI thought it was pretty good. A little repetitive, but that's TV for you. The characters were fun, and it's the only one of the Marvel/Netflix shows I'm looking forward to the next episode of.

I suppose my biggest concern is that plot wise, the 'long lost billionaire who was thought to be dead has returned to re-claim control of family's empire' idea has been done to death and I hear Ironfist doesn't really tackle this subject very well ( is Danny Rand even qualified to run Rand industries ) and yet it spends a lot of time on this issue. I also hear that Danny isn't particularly relatable or likeable. I intend to watch it someday soon ( I have poked some time off from work in early May ), hopefully it's not as bad as critics say.

3 RepliesI enjoyed it, but I agree that Danny's character could have been written better. I think they were going for the "kid loses his parents young, so doesn't really grow up kind of thing," but they didn't pull it off. He needed more character development towards the end

2 RepliesIt was okay. It wasn't great but not shit either. I liked Daredevil and Luke Cage a lot more. (Didn't watch Jessica Jones since the first 3 episodes bored me out of my mind so didn't carry on with the rest) Honestly, I just want either another Daredevil season or a solo Punisher one.

1 ReplyI've just started Daredevil and Jessica Jones, so I haven't seen Iron Fist yet, but I think the problem with Iron Fist is that Netflix and Marvel are just making the show as a way to establish him before we get The Defenders, kind of like the first Thor movie; it's just there so you know what's going on with the character before the team-up. I haven't seen it, though, so I might be wrong.

I found it solidly meh. It was fine but had a lot of annoying features, like Danny's character who went from cool and level headed to a whiny bitch. The fights were pretty blah and it didn't quite know what kind of show it was trying to be
