There's nothing fun about them. Especially in elimination.
Getting a guy 1 shot and they chuck a sticky grenade out in a pathetic attempt at a trade.
The titan who comes skating at you with the sole purpose of trying to chuck a sticky at you.
The warlock running double sticks and a NLB that only peeks corners for a second to try and pick you with the NLB or toss a lucky fusion at you.
Just have some dignity and get in to a proper gun fight, God damn.

Lol.... that warlock.... I played a trials match where my three opponents were self rez sunsingers running double fusion grenades. Each of them were using NLB (pre nerf) Is there even a way to counter this? You play the range game, and you get sniped by no flinch beyond. You get close and you're stuck by a fusion You time out the round for the cap point, and they self rez once you gain control. I should add, this setup can be beat if fusions weren't so easy to use...

Love the 1 shot situation. Almost dead, throw sticky, chill in the air with my Titan jetpack and get a chunk of health back for the kill. To be fair, fusions are the only reason that Sunbreaker is worth using.

Maybe you should switch to cod. It suits people of your type much more than destiny.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a hardcore mode in Destiny 2 with no shields.

Lol but I love Destiny, I just find stickes a bit obnoxious. Everything else that's been nerfed I miss, like clever dragon, shotguns, stormcaller, snipers. But stickies are just revolting.

Stickies can piss me off too. Just like shotguns always will. If stickies werent homing fuxks Id be okay. BUT I swear sometimes I dont even see them leave a locks hand and it hits me.

It seems like some people can't handle that there's more than just guns in this game. Ability gameplay is what makes it unique. People that expect gunfights all the time are mistaken.

As many people have pointed out. Heck, I'm using them on my blade dancer subclass right now, but you know why....Because i was tired of people repeatedly doing it to me thinking it was in any way skillful. After too many attempts at engaging in a gunfight, and in many cases having the upper hand and the likelihood of winning said engagement, only to have some guy toss out a "oh shit i know i lost but -blam!- it ima trade anyway" grenade, is just tedious after a while lol

Well that's your opinion and I can see where you're coming from, but all I've gotten from people that think like that is a watered down destiny. This game should be about feeling powerful and effective with everything you've been given. One by one everything is becoming weak and I can only blame people that see everything as a crutch, people that can't look past a single situation and see a bigger picture. People are using grenades because they're the only thing left in this game that can kill shit, and that doesn't even hold true to all of them. Bungie can't get off the nerf train and neither can so many people in this community. They're so shortsighted that they don't realize they have no destination and are only going in circles.
