If you hang out at The Flood, you know what I mean.
Recently everyone has been sporting a signature, not the one in your profile, but under every post, commonly being "yorkie".
Now as this is a very small problem, it's starting to get annoying and will most likely get out of hand.
Thoughts?

Well so signatures are basically a-ok?
Posted by: The Blueprint
Posted by: Pieman191 It should be counted as spam. And TBH, why do people sign their names at the end of their posts? We already know their names. There is no point to it.
No it shouldnt. Someone people call themselves different things than their Bnet username. Some people might wanna go by their gamertag or something.
This. Honestly, nickyfour92 sounds like a girls name -Fournkie
Posted by: Achronos Yes, you are a unique snowflake... Just like everyone else.
Posted by: LSU FAN 360 sigs are a way to show individuality, nothing else. -AJ-

Wait a second... they don't have snowflakes in Louisiana!
Posted by: HALO3syourdaddy I made a thread similar to this a couple months ago. I don't really remember the outcome of the thread, but I agree, sigs should be counted as spam, they annoy the hell outta me >.>
Agreed
Posted by: Cranium Crater Now would something like this be considered spam? EDIT: Just for anyone who is curious this (below) is considered spam. It got me my first warning ever on this site! That was some scary stuff. -Brains ___________________________________________________________________________ "This quote gives me inspiration and I would love to share it with you!"
To be fair, the signature above is a bit too much and probably belongs in the actual signature box. However if it is just the guys name or a single word, I'm pretty sure it's fine.

It's spam....

It's really not that big of a deal, unless they are doing something that breaks the rules in their post or signature. The thing that irks me is this yorkie figurehead who has started a wave of people putting "yorkie" after their posts as well, even when they are not "yorkie". That, I would consider as spam. However, not so much that it warrants a ban, but maybe a warning. *glares at Achronos* *runs away* ~RoKKeR~ [Edited on 07.01.2010 12:08 PM PDT]
Posted by: Achronos
Posted by: Nedus Achronos, this is why The Flood is out of control. Signatures have ruined it.
yorkie
WIN!

I don't think it is spam at all really, just signing their post, since signatures aren't displayed anymore, and no one looks at them, so, yea! there it is ~Yorkie4 President! [Edited on 07.01.2010 11:59 AM PDT]

No. It is just a word underneath what someone has written. ~DiM

Forum sigs: I can take them or leave them. I have never been bothered by them. Leaving a little signature is a good Idea though. You never know what tomorrow brings. ~Delta

This thread has entertained me. Saved. *eats a sammich* You know, I actually haven't signed my post in awhile. ~j17 [Edited on 07.01.2010 11:39 AM PDT]

What's wrong with signing someone else's or your own name under your post? How does it interfere with discussion and everyone else?

In case I missed it at the top I can catch it at the bottom.
I was not rude to you sir. ~jay~
Ha good point. Touche. %painbow#
Posted by: Duardo
Posted by: Mabian -- Mabian wonders if Steve is still hanging around and doing that whole "Steve" thing.
Sadly Steve hasn't been around in a while. - Duardo is rather sad that Steve is gone, as he found Steve's thoughts to be humorous but intellectual.
That's a shame. I was also a fan of his asides, insightful as they were. -- Mabian is considering taking up the torch in Steve's absence. However, Mabian is thinking he wouldn't be very good at it...

I think it draws attention to the more active members. Though, After a while it won't for people will realize this.
