The Burden Carried Within, Chapter 6: The ship

I think I'm making these too fast? What do you think? No? Okay well then stop reading this and start reading the story! :D “Warden,” T.S whispered as he nudged Warden’s shoulder, who was asleep outside of the cave. Warden was sleeping under a small patch of grass with his helmet next to him, asking the fallen so many questions and laughing so much really tired him out. “Warden, wake up!” T.S whispered a little louder as he started to shake Warden. “Noooo….” Warden groaned, “I don’t wanna get up, the grass wants me to staaaaay…” Warden sleepily replied as he fell onto his side and tucked in his knees to his chest. “This is important, get up.” T.S demanded with authority in his voice. “Fine Zavala, I’ll get up.” Warden joked as he opened his eyes. The sunlight hit his eyes like a bag of bricks. He put an arm over his eyes as he looked for his helmet. Once Warden found it, he put it on and began to stretch, after that he yawned; T.S just stared in annoyance. “What is it?” Warden asked once he finished stretching. “The fallen won’t bloody shut up!” T.S groaned as he pointed into the cave, which was absolutely silent. “Well did you give her some ether seeds? She might have been asking for some.” Warden explained as he tightened his gauntlets. “Yes, I gave it several! But still it wouldn’t shut up with all the clicking and all the noises!” T.S complained. Warden walked into the cave, “I’ll ask what’s wrong.” Warden sighed in annoyance. Warden sat down at the opposite side of the cave the vandal was on. He proceeded to get out a sheet of paper and he picked up a charcoal stick that was already on the ground from yesterday. Before he could start writing, the vandal started making aggravated clicking noises. He looked over at the vandal and saw that it had a piece of paper in one of its hand with writing already on it. The vandal slid it to Warden and sat quietly Warden took the paper in his hands and started to read it, “Huh,” Warden put the paper down. “Well?” T.S asked. Warden looked at T.S, “She wants to see her ship. She thinks she might have figured out what happened.” Warden explained. “To do that we would need to cut it from the rope.” T.S shook his head, “No, too dangerous. She could easily direct a bunch of fallen to our location and get us killed, or destroy our hide out.” T.S explained. “Relax, I’ll stay with her, you don’t need to come if you don’t want to. You may not want to know the mystery as to why her ship crashed, but I sure do.” Warden replied. T.S lowly growled, “Fine, do what you want. I’ll stay behind and keep an eye out, I’ll have my ghost transmit you if anything.” T.S said as he walked out of the cave. Warden scoffed, “Fine, stay behind.” he mumbled to himself. “Ghost,” His small cyber companion appeared in front of him, “Yes?” The vandal stared at the small white ghost in astonishment, she’s never seen what up close; it was like a tiny piece of the great machine hovering right in front of her, so naturally she tried to grab it. “What- hey!” the ghost shouted in surprise as 4 claws closed in around him. He couldn’t see anything, he was in the grasp of the fallen vandal. She clicked curiously as she opened a small hole in her hands, just big enough to see the small ghost’s blue eye staring at her. “Ummm… hi?” the ghost asked. She quickly closed the hole and clicked joyfully, feeling triumphant with her capture. There was a muffled shout from her hands, “Warden!!” All the ghost was met with was soft laughter from his guardian, “I think she likes you!” he chuckled.   “Not funny!” the ghost shouted from inside the grasp of the fallen. Warden began to write on a piece of paper. Once he was done he slid it to the vandal. She didn’t open her hands, but instead leaned forward to read it off of the ground. After a couple of seconds, the vandal nodded in agreement and opened her hands, letting the ghost fly out. “Thank you!” the ghost exclaimed as it freely flew around the cave. “How did you make her let me go?” the ghost asked as he lowly buzzed next to his guardian, “I made a deal.” Warden grinned. “What deal?” the ghost asked with suspicion in its voice. “Simple,” Warden began as he started to untie the rope around the vandal’s hands. “If she let go of you, I let her stay close to you or hold you while we examine her ship. “What!?” the ghost shouted in shock, he couldn’t believe his guardian just used him as a bargaining chip. “Well,” Warden started as he finished untying the last of the vandal’s hands. “It was either that or she got to keep you.” Warden grunted as he stood up. “Oh…” the ghost looked down for a moment. It then looked back at its guardian and nodded in the air. “Yeah I like your deal better.” The Vandal stood up next to Warden, they were roughly the same size. Warden walked to the entrance in order to give the vandal space to stretch. Once the Vandal was done stretching her four arms and her legs, she stepped out of the cave and clicked happily as the rays of the sun hit her armor. Warden smiled and welcomed the rays of the sun to hit his armor as well, it felt good; it felt nice and warm. After what seemed like 20 minutes, Warden snapped his mind back into focus and started to look around, trying to remember what way the ship was. "This way I think!" Warden shouted as he pointed north. "Wait no maybe south... or was it west?" the warlock rubbed his chin in confusion. "Ghost!" Warden shouted. His ghost appeared next to him. "Mhm?" The ghost hummed. "You have good memory, what way did we come from when I carried her from her ship?" Warden asked as he looked behind him and saw the Vandal sitting down on the grass, fiddling with individual blades of the grass between her fingers. "Ummm..." the ghost flew around for a bit. "East." it states as it looked in that direction. "East, bloody so did not expect that." Warden thought as he looked at his ghost. "Thanks!" The ghost nodded and began to vanish, "Waaaaait" the ghost stopped itself and looked at its guardian in confusion. "A deal's a deal." Warden grinned as he nudged his head in the direction of the Vandal. The ghost looked down in humiliation. "fiiiiiine..." It slowly flew over to the vandal who was sitting in the grass. The vandal looked up at the small machine of light and clicked happily as it extended its arms and opened its hands. The ghost sighed and proceeded to hover down into the vandal's lower two hands. The vandal cupped her two lower hands and brought the small ghost close to her chest, she began to purr. "All.... righty!" Warden shouted as he held up a hand. "Time to move!" Warden shouted once more as he ran into the east side of the jungle. The vandal chased after him, with the ghost cupped in her lower hands. "Weeeeee..." the ghost sarcastically shouted.
