Why Did They Name the Fuel Rod Gun a Flak Cannon

because... the anti air wraith shoots fuel rods at aircraft.. and if you look at it, it acts as a flak cannon shoots a missile at a far distance, expands, than GOES BOOM!

It's just the coding name. WHen you pick one up, it'll still say "picked up a fuel rod cannon."

Before Halo 2 it was known as the Flak Cannon for coding. Nothing really has changed about it's function though from what I have seen. [Edited on 06.26.2010 6:41 PM PDT]
