So if I have full Kings Fall Raid gear already from the previous incarnation, along with a firefly Smite (all at 400), will the new raid just give me gear that allows for ornaments?
I know new exotics etc. will drop, but I'm curious about the armor. Is it the same thing only with an ornament slot?

You have to regrind for the armor with the ornament slots

Let's hope that Kings fall is a little more giving than Crota and VOG. The armor drops were abysmal for me the past 2 weeks.

In the old version at least one piece of armor was guaranteed from Golgoroth (that's if someone hasn't popped a 3oC which used to mess up the drops for the raid for whatever reason). But now they've changed where the loot drops from so we can only hope armor is more forgiving this time.
