Are Lordran, Drangleic & Lothric the Same Place?

I argue no, because Oolacile is said to be close to Lordran (DS1) though far from Drangleic (DS2). My friend argues yes, because... reasons? He claims that Lothric, too, is just Lordran and Drangleic a few millennia ahead in time. I can wrap my head around Lordran, but not Drangleic. I brought up the fact that Drangleic is directly referenced in DS3 multiple times as a far away kingdom, to which he repeats the tired conceit, "Time is convoluted in Dark Souls." — which's really just a way of excusing Vaati's mistakes. He most likely heard this in a lore video somewhere, though I can't find any evidence in-game to support it. Anybody know of some concrete proof supporting either side that doesn't involve a dive into the reddit fanfic pool?

  • Lothric/Lordran and Dranglic are far away from each other, but it depends on the time. In the Dreg Heap, where every world from every age converge to a single point at the end of the Age of Fire, the two (three?) kingdoms are in the same place at the same time. That is extraordinary circumstances though. Also, in Fillinore's Rest, two castles can be seen over the horizon; the one is definitely Lothric, the other appears to be Dranglic (I can't think what it else could be, Lothric was built on top of Lordran). However, the world is ash but there's sunlight peaking through clouds. I'm not sure if the Ringed City was an illusion, or if it's some far flung (alternate?) future. But generally speaking, they are separate from each other.

    • I'd say no. That being said, there is evidence. Let me pull up a very big one; The Lordvessel. The Lordvessel is a powerful artifact from Dark Souls I, capable of containing the Lord Souls, and combining them into a single power great enough to open a gateway to the Kiln of the First Flame. The Lordvessel exists in Drangleic as well, broken, and shattered in Majula. As do the 3 Lord Souls of course. However, it's a popular theory--and the one I support--that when Vendrick went overseas, and pillaged a great treasure, the Lordvessel was said treasure. That being said, Lothric and Lordran are definitely close. It's kind of hard to argue that point, when you go to Anor Londo in 3.

    • Cant remember where, but i remember seeing that they are north/south/east/west of eachother on the same landmass. That seems to go against time periods though. If you see the video of touching the shell, you get a zoom out of the map briefly. The two structures in the cut scenes could be lothric and drangelic. Lodran, replaced by lothric. A havel knight leaves drangelic and finds lodran. He stands out in this foreign land and becomes havel the rock. Nothing confirmed, only speculated. That is how dark souls works.

    • Drangleic is in a far away land, almost completely separate from londor. Lothric was built near londor, if not right on top of it. Irithil was built right over the remains of anor-londo, which is also far above lost izalyth and the chaos. Time is convoluted, geography is not.
