How is an exo made
Hello peoples. I have a question. Exactly how are exo's made. We know Cayde was made into one but are all like that it are there some that are just made as exo's from the begining. Any info would be greatly appreciated. THX.

If you've ever played soma it's a lot like that I believe. If you haven't they scan your brain and make a digital copy that gets uploaded to the exo body. tl,dr brain copying machine

2 RepliesA consumer goes to target... Purchases destiny. After selecting their class they move on to choose their race... If they make the (best) choice and select an exo, it is created. In all actuality check the grimoire, I think the exos were golden age war machines. When they were resurrected by the ghosts they lost all memories of their original purpose and now instead act like human guardians and apparently, like cayde-6, drink alcohol

Also cade was once a human but he was changed to an exi.

12 RepliesAll Exos are humans Back during the Golden Age when the Ishtar Collective team was researching the Vex, Exos were developed because they somehow made the human mind better able to withstand the negative effects of exposure to Vex technology. We no longer know how to create Exos, but we do know they were made by creating a mechanical body and then inserting a volunteer's mind into it (like the mind transference in the Avatar movie). At first there were only a few Exos, but when the Golden Age approached its end and the Collapse began, the Vex started to take out worlds. In retaliation, large amounts of Exos were produced because they were more physically and mentally capable of fighting the Vex. The entirety of the Exo project was watched over by Rasputin, which is why they are referred to as belonging to Rasputin even though he actually has no influence over them or their actions. Because of our loss of knowledge on Golden Age technology and on how Exos were made, we can no longer create new ones

Hello! I think I can explain this. From what we know is that Exos like cayde were human conscience put it to a robot body. We don't know how this is done, though. The transformation was done by Clovis Bray. I am not sure who does it now, if anyone does. I just know he was either a pioneer or the inventor.

Though it is not certain I think it is generally thought that humans like cayde were changed into exos by Clovis bray by transferring their conscience to a robotic body

I think the question should be asked what gives a exo a human personality is it the Travelers light? This makes me wonder, Is our Ghosts really exo's but don't use the Term exo's to describe there body's? I can't answer this, clearly Ghosts can disappear at will but exo type humans can not. bye bye
