Ghost Fragment: The Reef 4 (help)
What exactly is happening here? It seems to me that the House of Kings has taken Uldren "prisoner" but when I read "one Kell kneels another rises" it seems to me that Uldren has control. That he's in power. I've read some places that Uldren killed the King Kell but I don't see any indication of this in the text. Am I having a brain fart? Walk my illiterate ass through this people

1 ReplyLooks like the Kell of Kings (who seems to be aging) is letting Uldren take control of his house. The exact goals and motives of the House of Kings and their Kell are not completely clear, but, as Master of Crows, Uldren would have a significant amount of potentially vital intelligence that the house could use. With the Devils, Exiles, Wolves, and Winter broken and pulling out of the system/going into hiding, the Kings seem to be ready to make their move.
