I would like to ask the people working on destiny 2 if they could make things like the weekly nightfall and raids, matchmaking i understand why they were not made so to begin with but I'm a solo player and I've played with a lot of people who are also solo players well i digress, I'm a solo player out of necessity I don't have the kind of time required to do things like raids or nightfalls especially after spending an hour or more trying to put together a fireteam to do so if you could make these matchmaking i might actually be able to complete a single raid in the next game.
i would also ask that others answer the poll to see who else would like to make the raids at the very least capable of matchmaking.

Join TheRaidSchool we help people with raids all the time. I checked and found out that your on PS4. I don't know if we have a PlayStation part of the clan Link here:https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/1849089

1 ReplyIn the very beginning I was in favor or match making for Raids. However since I have relied mostly on LFG for Raids I can say that match making would be terrible for Raids. The Raids require too much communication and even if you get that one awesome LFG team together, which I have several times, things still go wrong. If you threw a bunch of random people in a fire team with match making you could end up with people without the right weapons, armor, light level or even no mic and end up spending hours just trying to get matched with a team with the right set ups. No, raids need to stay the way they are in regards to how team members are picked for fire teams.

4 RepliesIf they can't include matchmaking system in raids then they should get rid of raids altogether

3 RepliesI am indifferent, have no real thoughts on it working, its likely to cause a lot more frustration for people than actually going out to find a team on the 100 or LFG etc. As we see from the latest posts on here there is a lot of frustration to be had with teams that are trying to run the challenges. This is with teams that are already prepared to put some time in and are at the right light etc. Imagine a raid full of people popping in for a go, afk or having problems with their head set etc, imagine a raid full of people who have to go feed the dog or put the cat out 20 min in etc etc . Sounds like a lovely utopia just popping in for a raid, doing a challenge etc but I think it would be hell. Not however saying don't have it just as a raider who has done every raid and every challenge on every character I would never use it.

I voted for matchmaking. I'm mostly a solo player so getting clanmates to raid is a non-starter, and I think that having to go outside the game to organize a raid group is ridiculous. Everything necessary to play the game needs to be in the game. There's no reason they cant make everyone happy. Give the option for matchmaking: those that want it will use it, those that don't, won't. Simple, right?

As long as its never forced Matchmaking, no reason not to have it

Voted for Raid matchmaking, but only because an in-game LFG, be it a notice board or even a playable portion of the game to establish teamwork, would be so much better than the crap we have now.

Edited by SmashvilleViking: 4/10/2017 11:34:49 AMI don't see an issue with optional MM. I wouldn't use it, but it wouldn't affect me at all if it were implimented.

I don't want MM for raids. If someone in my fireteam switches character for the check point I don't want a low light random to join.

4 RepliesWhy do people want to have raid matchmaking? I don't want to get some shit team who doesn't know what they're doing.

This would be very frustrating for some people like me if they added matchmaking for raids
