Has anyone noticed something about VoG group searches
I've done both challenges on both my hunter and Titan but no one will invite me when I'm using my warlock. I've messaged like 10 groups and I never get a reply when I mention I'm a warlock. It could just be coincidence but I don't know, man. I didn't know raid groups are shunning warlocks now? Maybe I should give them a Pepsi?

Maybe they already had 4 self res warlocks and 1 celestial nighthawk. Everyone complains about Titans until it's time to raid.

We had a tickle fingers warlock to help clear adds and create bubbles during the Templar challenge. I'd invite you.

I always try to run with two of each character type. I find the groups that are looking for no this or only that need the extra help, cuz they can't do it without it.

4 RepliesWhat I've notice is that nearly all of the groups tagged as "newbies welcome" almost always say "must know what to do". Makes for a good laugh.

Create your own Raid Team and you set the rules. Its what I always do when I get annoyed.

1 ReplyThese people have a knack for underestimating and not understanding how to utilize warlocks properly. I have been a Warlock since the second half of year one. Quite for the most part, I have figured out ways to make good use of my suppers whether it's for crowd control, survival, or even support. I have also got to the point where I hardly need to use sunsinger to get me through and I can freely use voidwalker for raids, but that is just me... :p

I think it's mostly that hunters and titans have more powerful, immediate team boosting and DPS advantages, be it celestial nighthawk with Deadeye or a blackhole tether on the hunters, or weapons/blessing/armor of light with titans. The Warlock res is useful, and so is the debuff that comes along with Viking funeral, but a tether is more effective at general crowd control and damage boost. Warlocks are nice, but at least in VOG, they're fairly overshadowed in terms of boss fights

I use LFG for all of my raiding. It needs to be done on weekends or reset day, otherwise it's a choosy mess.

4 RepliesI think it's probably because most raiding warlocks will run self res. What that tells the team is you're counting on yourself to die and you only use your super when you die. Personally I'm not against raiding with warlocks, use whatever setup works for you. I'm just saying why people might have these restrictions.

Still main a warlock and always will, just prefer the neutral game on them. I do think Viking funeral should last for longer but it's so good with the right build.

23 RepliesWarlocks are actually very good for Templar if you are standing on the right. 3 people can DPS and block teleport while the two warlocks clear adds with stormcaller and swords.

3 RepliesWarlocks do not possess a Super that has the innate ability to buff your fireteam's DPS. One could make an argument for the Touch of Flame and Viking Funeral combination, but the damage buff provided by this combination is nowhere close to the effectiveness of Weapons of Light or Tether. [spoiler]Many arguments can be made for any side of this discussion, but in the end, it doesn't really matter how you go about completing any activity in Destiny (besides the obvious cheating and use of exploits) as completion is the primary goal.[/spoiler]

Dude I've I'm a Titan who has completed every challenge, since day 1, and I didn't get a chance to do big challenge mode with my mates now I'm looking on the recruitment page and I'm not getting nothing back, god we killed the Templar in 20 seconds.

If the lfg group is all titans and hunters then run away very fast! You will see people blowing themselves up in bubbles. Shooting themselves eith sleeper ricoche etc etc

Which is somewhat strange since warlocks can control ads better than the other two classes. Especially when I use Voidwalker with Nothing Manacles and Embrace the Void. If a group is trying to cheese Templar they usually want Nightstalkers and Defenders.
