What is Eao?
I know a decent amount about the destiny universe, but I know there are people who are practically experts on Destiny Lore. I always wondered what the Eao is in "bones of Eao" but now they added "knuckles of Eao" as well. Does anyone know what Eao is? Looking at context I think it is either a beast or a name of someone.

Nobody knows for sure, but the popular theory which I agree with is that he's an ahamkara that survived the great hunt of long ago, and this is furthermore backed up by when you use knuckles of eao, it says "[insert gamertag] had their wish granted" which is what ahamkara used to do for guardians

1 ReplyHi, bit of a lore fiend myself. Alright, so basically there have been and are many ___ of Eao or ___ of Ahamkara. Like the claws, grasps, bones, knuckles, Spine, Skull, and Grasp. So Bones of Eao and Knuckles or Eao are what seems to have been specifically taken from an Ahamkara by the name of Eao, while the others could possibly be too we know these are specifically from Eao (an Ahamkara). For all we know the Claws, Spine, Skull, and Grasps can be from different ahamkaras. The Ahamkara are the dragons of destiny who we believe to be extinct because we hunted them down. They granted guardians great power, however the bearer of these "gifts" would all eventually go mad with power. The Ahamkara are thought to be able to disguise themselves as many different things. They're manipulative and can either control the minds of guardians if they're in contact with them long enough (wearing their bones) or maybe it's the ability of suggestive instructions. That's why all the bones say "Oh Bearer of mine" they're ways for the Ahamkara to communicate with us and control us. That's why it's my theory and many others that they're not dead, not all of them. And one day we will fight them possibly.

Eao is am ahamkara or maybe a wish dragon but like on the prices of armor the say "Oh bearer mine" it's says the same on the young ahamkara spine etc but when you use the knuckles of eao is says that your wish is granted but if you read it its says something a long the lines if you use these eao will come for a debt that you must pay there for maybe wish dragon maybe not

Btw there is a titan artifact called Scales of Eao If I remember correctly Eao was an Ahmkara and a pretty important one apparently seeing it is one of the only Ahmkara names we know of. And because it has 3 items with its name
