Destiny 2 bag materials
So I really want to buy the destiny 2 collectors edition but I was wondering what is the bag made from? If anyone knows it would be great as I'm vegetarian and don't want to buy leather. Cheers!

I’m holding mine right now. It’s mostly canvas (high quality canvas) with some leather accents. I think it’s real leather because fake leather normally gives me a rash. It’s a really high quality bag honestly. My only complaint is that the straps aren’t long enough for me (I’m pretty tall and most of my height is in my torso) it’s still a great bag though. If it makes you feel better I would guestimate that maybe 20% of the overall content of the bag is leather (don’t quote me on that, it’s a rough approximation) hope I helped.

1 ReplyJesus Christ I didn't know it was a crime to ask a question. All I asked is was it leather and people start getting annoyed at me. I provided a reason for the question as I knew people would ask. And I'm not vegan, also, and neither am I shoving it in your face. I'm not asking you to change, neither am I telling you to. I'm not criticising your beliefs so don't criticise mine. If making jokes behind a screen over a simple question is where you get your kicks, get a life. 1 ReplyTo me it looks like the main body and straps are canvas. The flap panels are probably also canvas or waxed cotton. The brown flap and the decorative panel on the strap might be leather though. For $150 it would be a reasonable expectation

5 RepliesWhen you order the collectors edition, Bungie sends one of their certified tanners to accompany the box. When it arrives at your doorstep, the tanner will open up the box, revealing a live cow inside. He will then proceed to kill the cow and remove its hide, and eventually turn it into fine leather. Next, he begins to shape the hide into a high quality collectors bag, right before your very eyes. This whole process only takes about a week, and you will be expected to supply the tanner with food and drink in order to keep his strength up. Once the bag is complete, the tanner will present it to you and leave. He also won't clean up the cow carcass that he left on your front porch.

Probably a synthetic material. You shouldn't expect leather unless you are looking for a good pair of work boots.
