Does anyone else feel insulted by the re-release of the necrochasm quest? I have no problem with the easy avenue for people that never got it before but I for one think that my year 1 grind for necro should've counted for something. This one one of the toughest quests to complete in year on if we're being honest and the gun was straight poop when you finally got it.
Let's review.
1.Grind blades for hours until a husk drops.
2.kill hive for a while until it's 'charged'
3.Grind the ever living crap out of Eris Mourn bouties until you reach rep to purchase embalming orb.
4. Upgrade and level legendary version.
5.Grind crota for weeks on end to get crux.
6.Await the inevitable buff because this exotic in year 1 was worthless.
Shortly before TTK they buffed this weapon to make it interesting but then left it behind with several other year one weapons making it nothing more than a novelty.
Now suddenly they've buffed it , made it completely viable ( as it should've been from day 1) and I have to start the grind for it all over again even though I have a year 1 blueprint.
I hope that you seriously consider avoiding these practices in Destiny 2. I'm getting sick and tired of being told that my time , and Grind were pointless by Bungie.
Edit: Iterated that I have no issue with the easier quest for those that don't have necro , and my displeasure for the time wasted on this quest in year one.

3 Repliesif i made a sandwhich yesterday, which i ate and enjoyed then, then today; had to make another sandwhich, have i wasted my time? i really dont understand why i see this complaint so often, we asked for year 1 raid increased since Taken king. we wanted a new necrocasm, a new vex we asked for all the things everyone is so critical about now.

1 ReplyThe new quest is a piece of cake so it's not that big a letdown if players didn't like necrochasm. Personally I love it, everything goes boom now and I am content.

3 RepliesLol the quest was hard? No it wasn't. It wasn't hard at all.

2 RepliesIt was a huge troll on Bungie's part, buffing the Necrochasm only to make it obsolete less then a week later👎🏻

There needs to be a light at the end of any tunnel. For many players in year 1 it was either no Ghorn or No Crux or both. After 45 CE completions I gave up on trying to get the Crux. It only took 25 to get Vex which I thought took too many runs.

1 ReplyEdited by Obi Ron Zenobi: 4/4/2017 5:15:20 PMas someone who grinded crota 3x a week, week in and week out, painfully watching my fireteam members get the crux to drop all the while cursing crota and the swordbearer because it never dropped for me glad for the quest because I finally got it

7 RepliesIt did. I got experience how much the weapon SUCKED in Year One. Which is why I can appreciate how much BETTER it is in Year 3. YMMV.

I for one think that my year 1 grind for necro should've counted for something.
It did. You had it in Year 1 and others didn't.

1 ReplyAnother person who can't find anything better to whine about so he chooses a stupid elitist attitude. Muted.

Ummm no. It's a video game... If you really get insulted by anything in a video game I suggest you stop playing video games and start looking for your balls.

That's the whole point of the new quest.....too much grinding in year one only to never get a crux. You still have to grind a bit but getting the essence when you kill crota is so much nicer....no rng involved.....just do this this this this and this to get that. EVERY quest should be that way and they need to remove any penalties that come with dying. Our effort should be rewarded not taken away

26 RepliesEdited by Kone19ps: 4/4/2017 1:21:36 PMNope. Crux isn't random so the design is far better and the quest far more rewarding without all that wasted time. It had a short time to shine in the doctrine meta if you had it
