Anyone Else Getting Sick of Youtubers?
I used to listen to them at work for entertainment, or any news I didn't already know. But dang man.
They are going nuts with these Destiny 2 updates, which all have the exact same content. Some of them drag it out so long that you could complete a number of tasks in the time it takes them to say 'Destiny 2 will have expansions.'
And then some of them glorify the news so over the top for no reason. [b][i][u]DESTINY 2 WILL HAVE EXPANSIONS!!!😱[/u][/i][/b]
[b][i][u]NO SHIT![/u][/i][/b] Yeah. It has expansions. Cool. Why is this news.
And then there are the few who were covering dead games and now want to sound like they know everything about Destiny. I just watched a famous Division youtuber tell everyone not to preorder Destiny 2, until they've played the game. With as much time as Ive enjoyed Destiny, that makes me cringe. He doesn't know anything about it.

I knew everything plus he said he would be giving away beta codes. You need destiny 2 for beta codes and how would he exactly get beta codes and not have destiny 2 to giveaway. He steals ideas and he admits to it too. I thought ignoring was enough but it's too much when he's in my feed too.

most of these youtubers provide zero information.. take this morning for instance.. all the how to templar challenge posts.. telling me it is easy and to stop the templar from teleporting is not helpful. HOW to accomplish this would be. These guys are so full of themselves. I have stopped looking at these posts for the most part and just figure it out on my own.

i stopped watching them after the game came out / after tdb. all they do is stretch tiny amounts of informations for as long as possible, make unlogical assumptions and guesses (more console) just to get like a 10 minute mark so they can have a bunch of adds in their crappy video. not to mention some try incredible hard to sound excited about absolutly nothing. best example was the destiny 2 teaser. 3 or 4 streamers made a video with like 4-10 minutes. only one made like a 30 second video. kinda annoying how these kids dont want to grow up and get an actual job.

3 RepliesYou want to see videos that drag and are way too long, you should watch Rick Khakis. Dude can easily stretch a video that should be a few minutes long into a ten minute video. The cheapest thing in now they are using key words to try to get you to watch like: "Epic", "Must see", "Things you need to know", etc.

Unfortunately the quality youtubers are outnumbered by all of the terrible ones. Which to be clear all destiny focused user created content is pretty low in standards. It's like deviantart, or any easily accessible creative medium, full of crap with a good one here or there. Note to anyone actually willing to try it out, there's not a lot of competition if you actually bother to try.

When I see shit like this: [i]"Destiny 2 DLC: This is all you need to know!"[/i] or [i]"Destiny 2 and gun predictions!"[/i] Like guys! Destiny 2 will have.... GUNS! Well no shit Sherlock... Destiny youtube "market" and Twitch directory is extremely oversaturated and oh boy will we see alot of streamers try to hop on the bandwagon of Destiny 2.

11 RepliesPretty much all Destiny YouTubers are PVP players. That's all they ever talk about which is why I haven't subscribed to a single one. KackisHD is so far the best and I love when he talks about the game, suggestions, what's wrong, why Bungie's latest patch sucks and so on. We need a PVE only Destiny YouTuber, I might attempt it for Destiny 2 because if you want something some times you gotta do it yourself.
