After reading the tower grimoire, I paid close attention to Lord Shaxx's, which states "One day Shaxx vows to return to the war beyond the City, but only after he is confident the fires of the Crucible have forged a new generation of warriors. "
Now, we just got Age of TRIUMPH, if you listened to the prelude then is says that we have brought an new age, one of triumph and remembrance, in the destiny 2 trailer we see zavala, cayde-6 (love you cayde) and Ikora all battling the cabal, along side countless gaurdians. Cayde himself gives a speech to many gaurdians along with Zavala, those gaurdians could be us, with Shaxx approval of course, full on soldiers, Lord Shaxx rejoining the fight...

Edited by Pocket Infinity (Adept): 4/4/2017 12:57:05 AMOh my god. Shaxx, with dual Raze-Lighters, uppercutting everything, driving swords into downed Cabal, dropping the swords, then just shoving shotguns down Cabal throats, ripping off their arms with his teeth or something and just screaming "FIGHT FORREEREVVVVAAAA GUARRRRDDDDIIIIAAAANNNN!!!"
-
I mean he was in the official trailer at 1:16
-
Naw, Shaxx is still Crucible Handler. You didn't see him, but he was fighting the Cabal, both horns broken, wielding two Raze-Lighters, bare-chested with the tattoo "You want the Crucible, I am the Crucible" printed across his chest. No one else went that hardcore, so no one else is ready.

Unite to form, Predaking! I'm sure that the crucible will have someone in charge. Shaxx may very well remain in charge in whatever capacity the crucible exists in D2.
-
At least on the bright side, with the tower gone, there won't be any more crucible right? So maybe PvP won't screw over PvE in Destiny 2?
-
With the current state of the cut in D2 I thought crucible was hardly anything anyone cared about at that point. I can just imagine those hardcore PVP players: "Everyone's dying! We need to evacua_" "BUT WHAT ABOUT BANNERFALL?"
-
my theory of how pvp will be... City has fallen, everyone is split up, each faction wants to unite everyone under one banner, theirs. DESTINY 2 FACTION WARS a boy can dream.
-
I would absolutely believe Shaxx and his final frame would go down fighting for the Tower while everyone evacuates with the Vanguard.
-
Wow thanks,
-
I'd like Shaxx to commentate on some PVE, it'd make it more interesting and funny.
-
true. Variks from the reef now becomes Variks Crucible kell
-
That means no crucible in D2 which means no nerf herders. REJOICE!
-
rahool crucible handler confirmed
-
He's the boss.
-
Primey, Kell of Kaboom
We are so back! - old
PERMADEATH! PERMADEATH! At least have it as an option... -
Perhaps this is a foreshadowing that D2 will not have PvP?
-
Good. Maybe they took out the trash pvp because pvp kids ruined the game for pve players.
-
Pretty sure we are busy fighting the cabal and not worrying about trials hacking and sidearms
-
Open world pvp? 64 vs 64?
-
Edited by Griff: 4/2/2017 11:15:31 PMCrucible in general wouldn't work because without our Ghosts to revive us we permanently die so until we get them back or find another way to kill each other without dying then Crucible is done for. Edit: So yeah he wouldn't be the Crucible Handler without the Crucible.

-
Shaxx was right behind zavala in the scene
-
Yeah that wasn't lord shaxx, that was the speaker speaking.
-
I agree. Shaxx hasn't fought since Twilight Gap so I can see him leaving and a new NPC takes over Crucible.
-
The speaker and shaax will die in the attack.
-
How would crucible work anywase, wouldn't we have to rebuild it after we deal with Gary?
