If the Cabal blows up the tower, and your Touch of Malice is in the vault, what happens to oryx

You'll do it without it just like people are going to do in less than 2 weeks. That gun is almost useless on Oryx.

Oryx's essence is trapped within the confines of touch of malice, in that orb on top. What I was getting at is what happened to that if it should suddenly be released due to the vault explosion. Is the essence destroyed, or is there a possibility for a return of the Taken King once more.

Destiny 2: Oryx' revenge. Due to the destruction of the guardians weapon storage, the taken King is free once more. He now sets his sights to destroy those whom defeated him.
