Ok... I think the stuff in our inventory screen, the reserve stuff, aside from what we have equipped, is a favorites list from the vault, and whenever our guardian switches weapons, our ghost transmats it for the vault into our hands, or onto our bodies OR Seeing as how our ghost made an advanced hard sealed combat suit out of 600+ year old car scraps, it could possibly scan, and deconstruct our gear into atoms n shyt, and store it locally, possibly our ship for easy transmat of materials OR They could be straight up stored in the ship as they are, and transmatted to us, but this would break the "everything was destroyed" bit of d2, unless our ship was docked at the tower But thisnstill leaves out our armor, you know, the stuff we're actually wearing, so unless we were but ass naked sleeping in one of the tower's trees or dancing for rahool's amusement, bungo will prolly play the "You were being refitted for new armor so you unequipped yours down to your base undersuit"
