Dragons, otherwise known in the Destiny universe as The Ahamkara have been officially confirmed thanks to the release of the official Destiny 2 Trailer. I'm sure most of you probably picked up on this new integral piece of information, that will now undoubtedly secure Destiny 2 as not only being an incredible hit, but a massive and guaranteed success and the greatest thing thing to come out of Bungie studios since the release of Gnop (That didn't have dragons in it because Bungie didn't have enough money for more pixels to put into the computer.) For the rest of you, that didn't pick up on the presence of the Dragons - or Ahamkara - I'm sorry you were unable to read between the lines as clearly as the rest of us. In fact I do somewhat fault Bungie for maybe being a little [i]too[/i] subtle with their delivery. Here's a list indisputable facts that prove Dragons will be present in Destiny 2 (as per evidence shown in the trailer): - There was fire. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] - Lots of explosions. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] - Cayde said the enemy had the letter "G" in its name. As in dra[b]G[/b]ons. [b]Dragons Confirmed.[/b] - The Cabal are opportunists. They simply saw the Dragons destroying the Tower, and swept in to pillage what was left of the riches, loot and artifacts. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] - Where there's smoke, there's fire. And where there is fire (see point number 1), there are Dragons. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] - The Ahamkara were hunted down and slaughtered. Their entire race was thought to be eradicated. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] - This list now has seven points. [b]Dragons confirmed.[/b] I'm happy to know once again, that Bungie has taken my advisement from many years ago quite seriously and entirely to heart. The inclusion of The Ahamkara in the first Destiny was a wonderful homage to Dragons, and all of Dragon-kind. But it's obvious now that mere pieces of armour crafted from the bones of these creatures, and grimoire stories are not enough to appease the masses. Fortunately enough though, it seems Bungie has now stepped up their game in a major way. Now that we know a great deal about Destiny 2 after its first trailer, and with all the details that we have now, I think its safe to say that we'll likely find out the Cabal are under Ahamkara mind control or something to that effect, and with Dragons now prominently involved in the Destiny universe, this will ensure 10/10's on every review and 5 Stars across the boards throughout the world when release day comes. Hold on to your butts folks, because it's obvious Bungie isn't [i]dragon[/i] their feet on this one.
