Do you play your own game bungie?

Are you done not listening to anything the community has to say? You've made changes in attempt to fix things that were never broken. You've nerfed weapons, classes, and perks into oblivion and never thought about how you could balance it. You can't have a shifting meta if you don't balance. Nerfing one thing does not constitute as balance. Case in point: auto rifles were nerfed into the ground within three months and have never seen the light of day again. We had a moment where doctrine was really good because the archetype just happened to take advantage of where they were at stat wise. However, ever since then hand cannons have ruled the meta closely followed by pulse rifles. It isn't hard to BUFF other weapons to be useable and adjust fall off damage for others to compensate. Want auto rifles to be competitive? Reward people for getting headshots by upping th4 crit modifier. Their TTK is absolute garbage. A range buff doesn't do anything. Special ammo: If you didn't learn from the inferno game types of the past then I don't know what to tell you. This meta is pretty much the inferno play list over and over and its not fun. If you're not going to bring special weapons down to the level of primaries then of course primaries aren't going to be favored. Even now this change was terrible because weapons like ice breaker, no land, universal remote, and side arms exist. They are fine weapons on their own and a great concept but you can't force these changes without looking at the whole picture and how people will navigate or adapt around these changes. Shotguns were a problem, actually matador and party crasher (to a lesser extent) were the problem. Snipers were not a problem, their ability to not be punished when you nerfed primaries was the problem. If I throw a grenade (arc bolt/ fire bolt) and it lands at their feet or within range it should hit them. If I use a super i should have more than one option (sunsinger) or feel powerful and not get gunned down immediately (blade dancer). Why is this so hard to understand? I could go on but I just want to ask, DO YOU EVEN PLAY YOUR OWN GAME? The last straw was I can't even play my preferred game type anymore. I lived in skirmish because it was the only hope of having a balanced game type but now this game has devolved into spawn camping the enemy with special weapons after winning the first exchange then watching them all swap to cheap tactics in an attempt to come back or camp for special ammo. This isn't fun. I've always used my primary more than any other weapon... but it's not hard to ADJUST weapons and abilties as needed. You need to pick a comfortable goal and move weapons to this goal. Such as what should be a good TTK, how should weapons approach this based on archetype / perks, how can this grenade or super be abused, Lastly if you're going to make perks dominate... bring back reforging. I'm so tired of people being 'good' because their guns are 'better' than mine. To date I've never gotten a god roll anything and while I don't consider myself an amazing player I'm sick of losing close games where I know I'm the better player but that hand cannon 2 tap, full auto + range finder shotgun, that perfect range and stability Saladins vigil, high caliber round pulse rifles (now a non issue), sniper like side arm, and lastly because my moving super has no way of feeling powerful or isn't gunned down by side arms (sunsinger / blade dancer) If everybody has access to a weapon they get to drop then that should be enough. Thanks for all who read. This will be the last post I make on these forums till D2. And I pray they learn from whatever you call the remnants of this game. I'll still play because of all my effort... but the fun has drained away bit by bit.
