For everyone thinking he's not able to connect: [b]It just takes ages to connect[/b]. In my case it's about 10 to 15 minutes, even with the latest patch 2.6.0.1 installed. Unfortunately there is no statement from Bungie yet. So just wait and do something else in the meantime. ORIGINAL POST: [i]Since Update 2.6.0 I'm not able to connect to Destiny anymore. I played Destiny an hour before the update was deployed without any problems. Then I downloaded the update, started the game and since then I am stuck on the connecting screen without any error messages or else. Since there was and there IS still no statement from bungie, I reinstalled the complete game. In another thread a mentor of this forum wrote that you have to clear the PS4's cache by removing the PS4's power chord for 5 minutes. I did that as well just to be sure, but still I have the same problem. I am very disappointed that even after 7 hours there is no statement from bungie. I tried all I could, even restarted my router, checked my settings etc. By the way all other online games I have (like Battlefield 1) work as intended.[/i] UPDATE: [i]Great, just when I posted this topic, the game finally connected after trying for 10 minutes. So maybe for people having the same problems like me: Try first to clear the PS4's cache (remove power chord of PS4 for at least 5 mins) Check your router, restart it. If all that doesn't help, try to reinstall the game like I did. I can't tell for sure what fixed the problem, if it was the cache clearing or the reinstalling. Hope it helps some people, whilst there is still no feedback from bungie.[/i]
