Really wish they'd leave exotic HC's out of the nerfs.
The exotic hand cannons are already underused enough as they are, let alone fast ROF HC. They can't even hit max range cap and this nerf is just gonna make people stray away more. They should've removed rangefinder from HC instead. Now we have to look for range even more so there's less perk variety. I think the fastest ROF HC should 1 head / body low armor guardians(194 armor or below). So people will actually use them.

I love hand cannons but honestly you its Luna/Pali or quit. I honestly love to run fatebringer, until I get TLW again haha.

2 RepliesNon of the exotic hand cannons perform outside the intended design for hand cannons. All four hand cannons (First Curse, Hawkmoon, Last Word, Thorn) all function and work as hand cannons and are designed to be hand cannons with small unique functions or mechanics tacked on. To say that they should be exempt from any changes made to the hand cannon archetype would be to state that they by default are already exempt from being viewed as a traditional hand cannon. Look at the changes to shotguns. The exotics Chaperone and Lord of Wolve's both perform different from standard shotguns and rely on specific features (critical damage multipliers) to perform optimally within their intended purpose. As such they were exempt from the shotgun change that removed precision damage. Non of the exotic hand cannons deserve to be anything except hand cannons, therefor they should follow any changes made to hand cannons in general.
