SPECULATION MODE ON: Neptune is a Jovian world, yes? The Awoken did not have a choice in their transformation, but the Nine did. Is this "sample" what transforms these people into the Nine? To give them a chance of survival?

Edited by Azidamadjida: 3/28/2017 12:15:41 AMNeptune's pre-Jovian - the Jovians are the exoplanets outside of Pluto's orbit like Eris and Makemake :) And the sample is just a sample of the Darkness, similar to how we saw the dark heart envisioned in the Black Garden - thought it'd be a cool idea if one of the outer planet scientists found a sample prior to the full invasion

Lol no worries dude but since Bungie hasn't given any details on the Nine yet I've been a little loathe to touch on them - hopefully they don't have Neptune in Destiny 2 and completely make my story moot lol
