I'll take a shot at it......
'Twas the night before Triumph and no-one was hyped,
Forums complained with incessant type,
The servers were primed with lag and despair,
And among the community, most didn't care.
"It's new stuff, I mean old stuff", the masters did shout,
You should all be more grateful, or exotics are out.
But Triumph's not trending, with not a tear shed,
Destiny's shine has long since been dead.
To the future we gaze, and Destiny 2,
With hope in our hearts, we wish it were true,
That the next game will be, all that we dream,
A Halo-esque masterpiece, from the new Bungie team.
But it's the night before Triumph, We know this story too well,
An update from Bungie is sure to be hell,
A community angry, with much moaning and gripe
On the night before Triumph, there's no need to be hyped.
How did I do?
Disclaimer: I like Destiny.

It perfectly describes the night before MoT

Not at all. It's a whimsical satire of the community. And Bungie's poor decision making. Notice I stated Destiny had lost it's shine. Not it was dead. It's shine is dead. I'll still be playing. I like Destiny.
