Just throwing this out there; if you come into a raid, and you're an avid trials player, it's probably a good idea to not bring your sweaty, shitty attitude with you. Leave that in your 3v3 mode because no one wants to hear your bitching. Especially when you're not actually helping, and in fact are making life harder for everyone. No one gives a damn about your K/D, your ELO, or how many times you went flawless. If you're not there to help and be of any real use, stay in the Crucible section of the directorate and leave us "low light casuals" to enjoy our gaming experience.
Edit: Before anyone checks stats, the very assholes I'm posting about are the reason I don't do Raids. I play them to get the experience, but it's just not worth the salt to have to see one or two people ruin it by being a douche.
Edit 2: Honestly, I was pissed at one dude, and I shouldn't have lumped PvP guys together. But as I've had people here say, there is no reason to act like a dick to people. I've ran the raid a few times, but I don't deal with bullshit from people that are at least 15+ years younger than me. I'm sure we've all dealt with assholes, and all I wanted to do was vent as I'm sure many of you have. Those that came here to publish K/D, raid #'s, you're what's wrong with not only this community, but gaming in general. If you're just roasting, by all means do so, but when you publish someone else's stats in ridicule, you're officially a sweaty douche.

2 RepliesI just laugh when people have huge egos because they can camp and sidearm in crucible lol like you think your pro because you're good at a game that doesn't even have a place in the competitive world and is dead hahaha I respect a pro or even a pub stomping call of duty player more than a destiny pleb.

7 RepliesHonestly a lot of players like you mentioned are pretty good at the game in general. Sounds like they were frustrated that the team couldn't get it together, and I get that. There are two kinds of random teams formed based off LFG groups. Those seeking players close to or better than them to get through the objective easily. Or those who are not telling the whole truth and want carried. I am the first. If I end up in a group that can't get it together, argues, does not take everyone else's time seriously and/or doesn't take suggestions or pointers, is a bunch of kids, or just bad, I'm done. Do you need to find like minded players. Play enough and you'll make friends in the process and then you'll have a team. Or you can slog through what you're doing now. Depends on how bad you want to do the content.

I'm an avid Trials player but I do raids well and am decently quiet.

On the whole I've found trials types to be much better at pve than people who only do pve. That said I'm an admin in a clan in which the sole aim is to help out. There are never Any issues at all with anyone, we don't allow any requests for light levels or experience when we post on our forum page when looking to raid and anyone doing us is swiftly put right by our regular members. Lately some people have been looking to get trials groups together and .... they can't help chat about how they're doing, this has put the more timid of our guys off posting and joining in as the feel inadequate. Fortunately it's a very small group but the effect is real. So in conclusion I agree and find salty try hard trials types a blot on the game, not cool enough by a street!

Edited by unicorn_lisy2015: 3/27/2017 3:39:23 PMi agree, always yank hunters in full flawless gear with ther shitty attitude and rage quitting after 2 wipes,or simply leave when finished with no thanks or appreciati when ur picking sides and u say il go right with another dude then he says hel do right also and thats that, like u may as well never said ud do right i the 1st place?
-
Preach, back in when Kingsfall was the endgame I remember the first couple times somebody came in with full trials gear I thought "well at least they will be able to snipe knights and bosses". For whatever reason those guys were usually the ones missing or bodying the Boomers at totems so I would have to wait for the wall of darkness to drop to kill them for them. Regardless attitude is first and foremost, I feel better not completing a raid with a group that has a good attitude and has fun in the process, than struggling to finish with a guy or two that are elitest jerks.

22 RepliesYou wont see pvp players in raid cause they are trash... cant go around killing everything with a shotgun in raid
-
and whatever you do, if we wipe don't say "who wants to do trials" that one sentence is enough to destroy a raid team (which is why i raid tuesday-thursday)
-
I play both and enjoy both. Raided with the funniest group I've ever been in yesterday and it was great! Then played trials with some chill guys and that was great! Maybe play the game more

7 RepliesI don't see why everyone says PvP players are bad at PvE when the majority of the PvP mains I know could stomp a raid out in 30 minutes. Guess you can't play both or some
-
You're probably buns at both pve and PVP. Just hush.
-
respect +
-
Fun fact: There are awful people in both PvE and PvP.
-
Just be careful because there are plenty of pve elitists too who won't accept anyone with this emblem or that shadder or so many raid completions. And that's ok but just make sure you read their lfg requirements. Me personally I'm gonna have a hard time doing the older raids because I haven't done them and can't really find anyone that is willing to accept a new comer. Wotm I know backwards and forwards, but the others are what I really want to complete and because of pve elites and their attitude it has become a challenge.

3 RepliesIt's cuz ur on Xbox lol. PS players are far less competitive and are more mature (in general) .... But no joke, if you're using a sidearm in a raid... you're doing it wrong and will be ridiculed/booted for it...

PREACH BROTHA PREACH

Edited by Choccy Moo Moo Juice: 3/27/2017 2:50:32 PMI had this one guy in a WoTM raid complaining that we werent throwing grenades properly... Like seriously wtf. He was a PvP main as well, so the typical cancer.

Edited by Strait in HerMuz: 3/27/2017 3:13:46 PMDude I just ran with a group like that. They were total elitist dicks. Made the entire raid cringe AF and no fun. I know I love to get into some stupid lfg group and then be the only one who is not butt buddies with these dicks and be talked down to because we had to wipe Vosik once. EYEROLL. Leave your dickface attitudes in trials fvgs. Just to note, I have 200 raid clears and have only ran into this kind of dickery 2 or 3 times. When you do find it its terrible. Considering getting a PS4 D2 bundle to get away from these cockswallowers on xbl if bungo finally lets us migrate accounts.

7 RepliesPVP players don't have the patience to raid, but have the patience to camp with Skorri's. lol
-
4 RepliesYou can tell if they're a trials player is they are constantly straifing
-
So what does the community think are good raid stats? I thought mine were good with x00 completions but my kda is equal to 13.00 across my three characters (9.5, 14 and 17) and I think thats kinda low. Wipes I guess but still
-
Don't do salt kids. #TitanMasterRace
-
Shitty attitudes are never fun to be around. Usually worth a mute or a boot.
-
7 RepliesMy clan of four needs 2 more fun guardians to do crota tomorrow night , we laugh and have fun if u r interested let me know PS4 around 8:30 central
-
9 RepliesNot saying you can't use what you want but I honestly cringe when I see someone play hard Raids or Raids in general with their vendor palindrome or worse a sidearm
