Potential solution to vault space and bad rolls

With Destiny 2 seemingly on the near horizon, it got me to thinking about the lack of vault space, bitterness of bad rolls, and inspiration from previous Destiny updates. Through this brainstorming, I developed a method that I think would eliminate vault space issues, make every legendary roll valuable, and still maintain the slot-pull addiction we've come to love and loathe over the years. My solution is for Destiny 2 to have primary, special and heavy weapon kiosks ala the exotic kiosks available now. Then, weapons roll with only one scope and three perks (left, middle and right columns). Once this happens, you have a choice. Either dismantle the weapon for three legendary marks just like current Destiny or SPEND three legendary marks with Banshee-44 (or whoever the gunsmith is in D2) to have his professional hands dismantle the weapon, causing you to receive a kiosk blueprint for the weapon and every scope and perk you got on that roll. This can be repeated until all perks are unlocked for that specific weapon. Put into practice, it would look like this: You get your very first roll of "Scout A" with Steadyhand IS, Icarus, High-Cal Rounds, and Feather Mag. Not a great roll, but those High-Cal Rounds are nice. You take this roll to the gunsmith and give him the gun and three legendary marks. He/She then gives you the blueprint for Scout A in the primary kiosk as well as that scope and those perks. Later, you roll Scout A with Focus Lens FLA5, Crowd Control, Armor Piercing Rounds, and Braced Frame. Three marks and a trip to the gunsmith later, you now have that new scope and all those new perks for Scout A in the kiosk. You decide you want to build your own custom Scout A with Focus Lens FLA5, Crowd Control, High Cal Rounds, and Braced Frame. You saunter on over to the primary kiosk, select "Custom Order" and choose to build Scout A with the combination you chose above. Now obviously this would become a problem if players could custom build guns willy nilly to suit their desires at the moment. To prevent this from being abused, this custom order is gonna cost you, in the form of 150 or more legendary marks and a one week wait (until Armsday?) to have the gunsmith custom make and deliver your gun. This would make it so that if you got a god-rolled Scout A "naturally", then great! But now the poor saps that grind for hours upon hours to get a good rolled Scout A without luck can still be happy with that crap perk roll (but oh-so-good scope) knowing that it will contribute to their blueprint stash and eventually create their perfect weapon. To keep things balanced, you still have to get lucky enough to get a roll of the weapon you want plus there's opportunity cost in that you lose three legendary marks to gain the blueprints instead of gaining the marks, not to mention a hefty legendary mark cost and week long wait. Let me know what you all think of the idea and if there are any changes or suggestions you would make.
