Okay so I thought about it some more, and I think your trying to say that the future is set because of destiny, and that's kinda what the merchant and the alchemist is talking about so in the story, Hassan represents Nas and Seren is Hassans future self. She knows what will happen because the future version of Nas already told her what would happen and she relays that to Nas. Or something?
